On the issue of psychological security in the educational environment
In this research paper, such a phenomenon as psychological security in the educational environment is considered. The paper considers the relevance of this topic both for students and for the teaching staff and administration of educational institutions. The basic concepts and obstacles that stand in the way of educational institutions in the process of creating a comfortable environment are also considered.
The relevance of this topic lies in the fact that the educational environment is one of the key factors in the formation of a child's personality and his mental health. In this regard, it is necessary to ensure the psychological safety of students in schools and other educational institutions. This includes the establishment of rules for interpersonal communication, the prevention of psychological violence and the formation of emotional and social self-regulation skills in children and adolescents.

Speech culture of the officer of Rosgvardia
The article analyzes the main directions of formation and development of the professional speech culture of the officer of Rosgvardia. Particular attention is paid to such speech qualities as accuracy, logic, pertinence, purity and correctness. The authors conclude that the originality of professional speech culture in Rosgvardia is determined by the fact that it incorporates the traditions of professional communication and speech conduct of both the military and law enforcement officers.

Media communication in the context of globalization processes
The article is devoted to a new phenomenon of modern society called media communication. The rapid development of digital and information technologies has led to the fact that the population of the world began to consume information not through television and newspapers, as it was in the 20th century, but through the Internet mainly. In this regard, citizens of all countries have become involved in the new media industry. So we can talk about a new, global, type of communication. The author of the article draws attention to the relationship between globalization, communication and mass media, thanks to which conditions for the formation of information content are created, the boundaries between the consumer and the creator of information materials are destroyed, and transformational processes in the media sphere take place.

Russian Grammar teaching problems in the framework of the Russian-Chinese bilingual comparison — On the example of a subordinate clause of time with the conjunction “when”
Russian grammar course is an important teaching course for Chinese students in the early stages of Russian majors. In this article, as an example, the content of the training of the subordinate clause of time with the conjunction “когда” is considered. The guided teaching content of the adverbial clause of time is taken as an example to compare and analyze the differences in word order between Russian and Chinese when expressing the same sentence, so as to cultivate Chinese students' speech skills and practical ability to comprehensively use Russian, and help Chinese students deeply understand the differences in the expression methods between Russian and Chinese.

Introductory words as contact and label syntax means in A. Yashin's prose
The article analyzes the functioning of introductory words in the works of art by A. Yashin. In the course of the study, introductory words in the writer's prose are systematized according to the meanings they convey: an expression of the speaker's assessment of the degree of reliability of what is being reported; connection of thoughts, sequence of presentation; an indication of the source of the message; expression of expressiveness of the statement; call to the interlocutor in order to draw attention to the reported. The main functions of introductory words are also identified and described: intimization of the statement; labeling of the request; mitigation of the intrusion into the volitional sphere of the addressee, the desire to soften the categoricalness of one's statement, which contribute to the successful implementation of communication between the characters of A. Yashin's works of art, allow solving the tasks set by the writer in one or another communicative speech act without interrupting it.

Incantation texts as protective texts of magical discourse (on the material of English and German)
The purpose of this work is a comparative analysis of the protective texts of magical discourse (spells, incantations) in German and English linguistic cultures. The novelty of this study is to identify the linguistic and stylistic features of spells and spells as predictive texts based on the material of German and English. It is important to note that this type of text is poorly studied in linguistics. Perhaps this is due to the fact that texts of this kind have been tabooed for a long time, in addition, the analysis and interpretation of these texts is a certain difficulty for researchers. In the presented work, conspiracy texts are considered in a comparative aspect based on the material of two languages. As a result of the study, it was proved that the belonging of conspiracy texts to magical discourse presupposes the presence of universal and linguistic-specific characteristics in German and English linguistic cultures.

On the research of formation of intercultural nonverbal communicative competence in teaching Russian language as a foreign language
In humanity, verbal and nonverbal types of communication are distinguished. Nonverbal communication as the most ancient way of human interaction denotes the activity of transmitting information and expressing thoughts, performed with the help of non-verbal means of communication, including gestures, poses, facial expressions, intonation, etc. In everyday life, especially in interlanguage and intercultural communication, it performs peculiar functions that are not replaced by verbal language. Therefore, the formation of intercultural nonverbal communicative competence is very important and relevant for each of the Chinese students of Russian studies. This article reveals the content of the concept of "nonverbal communication" and analyzes its numerous functions in the process of interpersonal communication, and also examines the real state of education of students' nonverbal communication skills when teaching Russian in Chinese universities. Based on the identified problems and shortcomings, the author proposes appropriate methods and techniques for their improvement.

The role of proverbs in the formation of linguocultural competencies when studying foreign languages in the modern educational space
The article is devoted to the formation and development of linguistic and cultural competencies in the study of foreign languages, taking into account the role of proverbs. Proverbs of the English language were specifically considered. It was found that by studying foreign language proverbs, students develop linguacultural competencies such as cultural understanding, communication, creativity and thinking.

The influence of English on the mental representations and cognitive processes of native speakers of the Russian language
The scientific work is devoted to the study of the influence of the English language on the mental representations and cognitive processes of native speakers of the Russian language. The aim of the study is to find out the degree of influence of the English language on the thinking and understanding of the world among Russian-speaking people. In this paper, the relationship between language and human thinking is clarified. Much attention is paid to vocabulary and syntax, cultural representations are studied and communication and intercultural interaction are predicted.

Beginning of the approval of the German "new order" in the territory of the Kursk region (by the materials of reports of the soviet agency)
The article is devoted to the initial stage of the invasion of German troops into the territory of one of the regions of the Central Chernozem region - the Kursk region. This territory played an important strategic role in the further advance of the Wehrmacht towards Moscow and the defeat of the Red Army. The information material for this article was the declassified archival documents of the NKVD Directorate for the Kursk region - mainly intelligence reports of Soviet agents, which began to transmit information about the situation in the territory occupied by German troops already in early November 1941: all-encompassing terror against any manifestations of anti-fascist activity, mass executions of the civilian population, robberies, lawlessness, and strict passport control.

Contribution of regional organizations of Osoaviakhim of Karachay and Cherkessia to the preparation of military reserves for the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945
The aggravation of the international situation in recent years and the growing military-political confrontation with Western countries have once again actualized the problem of creating a highly professional and combat-ready army for the Russian state.
And in this regard, the appeal to the experience of military training in the Soviet Union is not only relevant, but, it seems, necessary.
The purpose of this article is to analyze the main directions of training of military reserves during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in two national autonomies – Karachay and Cherkessia by regional organizations of Osoaviakhim.
Based on the basic principles of research work (the principle of historicism and scientific objectivity), the author tried to trace the main stages of the process of military training of conscripted youth of the region in wartime conditions. An idea is given about the leading areas of work of defense circles, military training centers, the dynamics of the results of their activities is traced.
In the process of working with archival sources, print materials and literature, an integrated approach was applied. Using the methods of comparative-historical and problem-chronological analysis, the author tried to identify the main trends in the work of defense organizations in wartime conditions.
It is noted that the preparation of military reserves for the front during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 became the most important direction in the activities of the regional branches of the society "Osoaviakhim".
The article emphasizes that the Karachay and Circassian regional branches of Osoaviakhim made a significant contribution to the training of highly qualified fighters for the Red Army, who fought with honor for their Homeland, bringing Victory closer.

Notebooks of non-commissioned officers as a source for studying the socio-biographical characteristics and monetary allowances of the lower ranks of the railway gendarmerie in the Russian Empire at the beginning of the twentieth century
The article is devoted to issues related to the study of socio-biographical characteristics and sources of income of the lower ranks of the Sukhinichi branch of the Moscow-Kiev Gendarmerie Police Department of Railways. The size of the monetary allowance of non-commissioned officers of the railway gendarmerie was recorded in the so-called "notebook", where the personal data of the non-commissioned officer and the amount of money issued to non-commissioned officers were recorded in the corresponding columns. The author reveals the social origin, place of birth, family status of non-commissioned officers, the gradation of the monetary allowance of the lower ranks by levels (lower, middle, higher), shows the dynamics in the payments of housing, ammunition, fodder money and other monetary compensation mainly for 1911 – 1916.

The main measures of the reform of secondary education in 1984-1991 in Karachay-Cherkessia
The Russian state at the present stage needs to create optimal conditions for the formation of an effective secondary school. It is she who should provide education and upbringing of deeply educated, highly moral, patriotic young citizens who are able to solve any tasks facing the country.
And in this situation, understanding the experience of modernization of secondary education in the 1980s is undoubtedly relevant. It seems to help in building the most effective algorithm for creating a general education system that meets all modern requirement.
The purpose of this article is to analyze the process of implementing the main directions of the reform of the secondary education system of the late Soviet period in Karachay-Cherkessia, its results and outcomes.
In the article, relying on the leading principles of research work (the principle of historicism and scientific objectivity), the author tried to trace the leading directions of modernization of the Soviet secondary school in the region. An idea of the main activities within the framework of the reform is given, the dynamics of the process is traced, successes and shortcomings are noted.
In the process of working with archival sources and literature, the author applied an integrated approach. Using the methods of comparative-historical and problem-chronological analysis, the author tried to identify the main trends in the work of regional education authorities to ensure the modernization of the learning and upbringing process.
The article emphasizes that the reform of secondary schools in Karachay-Cherkessia, as in the entire Soviet Union, despite certain successes, did not lead to the desired results. This was caused by both objective circumstances (aggravation of the political situation, a sharp decline in the authority of the authorities and the Communist Party, socio-economic crisis, etc.) and subjective factors (ill-considered reform, poor staffing and logistical support of secondary schools, etc.).

This article provides an overview of the historiography that sanctifies the activities of the urban Orthodox parish of the mining Urals during the years of revolutionary upheavals and the formation of Soviet power. The main attention is paid to works published in the period from 1900 to the 1980s. XX century. The features of the authors' approaches to the study of the activities of the parish as an element of the organizational form of the existence of the church, closely related to a specific territory, its place and role in society and the state are revealed.

Intelligence and artificial intelligence in the aspect of new opportunities
The human mind and artificial intelligence have some similarities, which consists in the descriptive semantics of what is happening and the construction of a language model of the world, but they fundamentally differ in their content and information processing. The relevance of the article is determined by the need for scientific understanding of the definition of similarities and differences between the human mind and artificial intelligence from the perspective of the given interaction. The article presents the key components of the difference between the human mind and artificial intelligence. It is argued that the human mind is a complex biological system that has evolved over millions of years, and artificial intelligence is at this stage of development a mathematical simulation model created by man, which is designed and programmed by people, which in the future, most likely, will lead to the evolution of artificial intelligence towards a close imitation of the human mind.

The article shows the possibilities of such a category of place names as urban names, not only in the translation of images reflecting the geopolitical identity of states, but also in conducting a kind of diplomacy with the help of urban names by naming iconic objects of the urban environment. Dromonyms, acting as street names, can serve as visiting cards of cities, creating in the minds of people who have never even been in a particular city, a vivid impression of it, the country, its people and power. The policy of renaming streets serves as a tool to demonstrate friendly or unfriendly attitude towards other states.

The article is devoted to the process of creating a system of protected areas in the Svalbard archipelago, in particular, national parks, as one of the directions of Norway's environmental policy in the period from 1973 to the present. The interrelation of the process of separation of lands for environmental protection and the development of the USSR / Russia in the archipelago. As a result of the retrospective analysis, the peculiarities of the implementation of Norway's policy on the creation of a system of national parks in the Svalbard archipelago in the conditions of the permanent presence of the USSR / Russia in the region, the conclusion is made about the complex nature of the restrictions of this presence.

Training of personnel for the Red Army in military educational institutions on the territory of the Kirghiz SSR during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945
The article touches upon the topic of military educational institutions of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army, which were stationed in the Kyrgyz SSR during the Great Patriotic War. Information is provided on the military academy, colleges, schools and courses that trained specialists to fill the positions of junior commanding staff of the Red Army. A brief history of military educational institutions is described. Comments on some events in the considered period of time are presented.

Group *DUDLĚB-A as part of the early medieval «Sklavens»: the search for origins. Part 1
The first part of the article examines the ancient origin of the chronicle ethnonym «Dulebes» and attempts to correlate the early Dulebes with one of the Germanic ethnic groups in Eastern Europe, later Slavized. The author insists on the Germanic origin of the name and the further assimilation of the early Dulebes among the «Sklavens» of the Prague-Korchak culture.

A new approach to sign languages within the Eurasian paradigm
What is the nature of Russian sign language? Is it considered a distinct national language or a part of the official language? This article presents a comprehensive analysis which argues that sign languages are indeed part of official languages. However, sign languages operate within a different modality - the visual realm. While sign languages share the same terms and concepts as spoken languages, they possess unique rules and grammar due to their reliance on visual communication. The hypothesis presented can be supported by the observation that deaf individuals in a specific country share similar attitudes and perspectives as the general population. Their understanding of the world is essentially the same, with the only difference being the method of perception. However, their modes of written communication and mass communication are identical. Based on this analysis, it is evident that sign languages should not be considered as distinct national languages, like those of ethnic minorities. Instead, the suggested approach is to view sign language as a visual component of the country's language, rather than as a separate foreign language without sound. The article provides a thorough examination of various groups within the deaf community and presents a list of visual means used in the Russian language, such as Russian sign language, sign-supported speech (calquing sign speech), fingerspelling, facial expressions, articulation, and kinesics. The article specifically focuses on the use of mouthing. It questions the necessity of the term “mouthing” alongside the term "articulation". The article also proposes a detailed structure for the perception of information. According to this structure each element creates a cognitive concept. The author aims to demonstrate that it is crucial to acknowledge the significance of each modality of perception, as they all contribute to human progress and development.

Visual modality as a part of mass communication
This article explores communication in social interaction and the importance of mass communication in modern society. Language proficiency is crucial for full membership in society, but there are also sign systems known to smaller groups, such as flag signaling for sailors, Morse code for telephonists. symbolism for scientists, and sign language for the deaf. The study of sign language is in its early stages, evolving alongside new forms of mass communication. The author introduces the concept of signota, which involves expressing ideas visually through sign language. The future of signota and the visual mode depends on those who recognize its potential in enhancing communication and contributing to the language system as a whole.

Terms of Russian sign language and their definitions in the discourse of specialized legislation
This paper delves into the terminology associated with Russian Sign Language (RSL) in the context of legal studies and terminology research. It provides a critical analysis of the methodologies employed in the examination of these terms. The study identifies and defines RSL terms within a specific legislative text that addresses linguistic concerns for individuals with hearing or speech impairments. This includes a legislative act that outlines the process for offering sign language translation services. A comparative analysis method was employed to establish new terms, considering the discourse of linguistic research of visual language modality (diachronic analysis). The study interrogates the definitions of "Russian Sign Language" as an autonomous, national, independent system. The terms "deaf translation" and "Russian Sign Language translation" are being examined as well as the concept of calquing sign speech. Calquing sign speech is a visual way of communication based on spoken Russian language. According to the author, it seems to have disappeared from the legal text.
