“Big promises reduce trust”: thoughts about the role of trust in history. From the Editor
The history of mankind is particularly vivid and dramatic in its description by revealing how people at one stage or another of its development treated each other, the government and other social institutions, trusted them or, on the contrary, experienced mistrust. The more complex the system of public relations, the more revealing is the analysis of the state of trust in society for understanding its security.
Key words: trust, social capital, cold societies, warm societies, international institutions, power.

The role of public information policy in formation and development of the sphere of public services in Russia
State information policy occupies a central place in the system of regulation of social and political relations in the modern information society and in many respects contributes to the creation and development of a new system of information and communication relations that contribute to providing the population with a high level of accessibility of information and the provision of high-quality public services. At the present stage of development of Russia, the activities of government bodies, state and municipal institutions included in the system of public services are impossible without the use of information, information technology, the Internet. The introduction of information technology in state administration allows changing the essence of state administration at the institutional level in the transition from a bureaucratic state to a social service one.

Typology of Russian students as a reflection of the channels of its political communication: a hundred years ago and now
The author traces changes in the typology of Russian students over the century, using different sources. One of the most striking is the series of postcards by the artist Kadulin, released at the beginning of the 20th century titled "Types of Students." However, all the fundamental socio-political changes in our country did not lead in a hundred years to a fundamental change in the typology of university students. This is largely due to the nature of higher education itself.
Key words: higher education, Russian students, political communication, history, sociology, typology.

The history of "candy" campaign: from everyday life to geopolitics
This article analyzes the history of creation and distribution of sweets, which played the role of not only sweets, helping to create a joyful mood, to generate positive emotions, but also the means of communication. Candy, connecting people of different countries and cultures, conveyed information about their lives through a rich language of symbols, including taste and visual. Confectionery products are an invariable attribute of any holiday - from personal to state. Candies became an integral part of the diplomatic protocol. The breadth of distribution and the variety of confectionery products makes it possible to use them as an information carrier of an enlightening nature. The fact that outstanding confectioners worked in the production of sweets, and the art of wrappers and boxes of candy products attracted famous artists, reinforced the impact of these products on the consumer. Candy turned into a powerful tool of political propaganda. And according to them, as a valuable source of the history of everyday life, one can judge the socio-political moods of society and the ability of state authorities to capture these sentiments.
Key words: geopolitics, food, diplomacy, the history of everyday life, national identity, pragmatonymy, naming.

Indicators and engines of corporate culture: the role of coffee in the organization of labor
Coffee culture in many ways can be considered a model of global culture. Not only because it covers all regions and almost all states, it creates its own spaces in which people are most comfortable in communicating. In the business environment, the coffee culture has its own functions that, in addition to the communicative orientation, make it possible to solve creative problems, create and implement joint projects. In addition, coffee culture encourages thinking about other people, to show social responsibility and participate in charity programs.
Key words: business environment, communications, coffee culture, charity, corporate social responsibility.
