Masked geopolitics
The article analyzes the nomenclature of masks that are used by a person in various life situations. In connection with the coronavirus pandemic announced at the beginning of 2020 by the World Health Organization, medical masks have come to the fore. But even earlier in history, the ability of authorities to quickly and effectively respond to threats to public health were among the main geopolitical advantages of states. Along with medical masks, military masks and protest masks can serve as indicators of the political climate and geopolitical ambitions. The mask is part of the carnival culture, which is distinguished by its exceptional variability; therefore, in geopolitics, the most unexpected readings of the meanings of the long-known masks are possible.
Key words: geopolitics, culture, history, mask, political protest, war, carnival.

A model of political leadership: politicians with an engineering education and an engineering outlook on life
The article proposes to expand the typology of leadership based on the image of the primary matrix of the world — the World Tree — reflecting the tendency of movement from an agrarian society to an industrial one. If the agrarian structure of society corresponded to the figure of a leader - a gardener, then in the industrial period it begins to be replaced by the figure of an engineer. The ambiguity and evolutionary path of this typology of political leadership reflect such variants of the model as: “politician - engineer - expert”, “king - engineer”, “president – engineer”. Each of these options was embodied in prominent statesmen who cared about the prosperity of their countries and the well-being of their inhabitants.
Key words: history, politics, power, leadership models, engineering, government, political culture.

The development of cyber anti-corruption practices and civilian control in China
Civilian cyber-anti-corruption action is the modern political supervision actions of citizens, which they carry out under the technical conditions of the Internet network together. They combine the most accumulated pain points and the most effective methods, give the right to limit power, the opportunity to enter into wide expanses of practice from a high and in-depth theory. Success in anti-corruption action is shown in practice, rights through generalization can turn into coercive power, but in order for rights to limit power, it is necessary to change the power that limits power, i.e. moral restrictions must be transformed into power restrictions. Therefore, the political space is the main factor for the successful or fruitless existence of a civilian cyber anti-corruption action, the Internet network itself is only a technical condition. It is hoped that in the new political environment, civilian cyber-anti-corruption action will gain new development.
Key words: civil cyber anti-corruption action, anti-corruption Internet network, logic of action, civilian control.

Now in this area new trends have been outlined, which reflect both different attitudes to the combat strength and different geopolitical ambitions of the states.
Key words: wars, military operations, army supply, food, historical heritage.

A visual turn on the meaning of time
The category “time” is one of the most important in human history. However, the reflections on the essence of time, its values appeared at that stage of development, which arose as a result of the expansion of habitable space, and thereby mental horizons and opportunities for economic activity. The new stage required the consolidation of ideas about time as a resource for the development of society. Tools for visualizing time were included in the arsenal of solving this problem. In the conditions of the information revolution and the formation of an individualized society, the problem was not actualized of a collective picture of time, but of a personal one, which allows enriching a real object, symbolizing time, with elements of imagination inherent in each individual person. The visualization of time has become a part of training and time management. In this case, the secret of time remains unsolved.
Key words: history, time, visualization, visual turn, constructivism, postmodernism, education, time management.

The author of the article reflects on the fate of information in our difficult time of the transition of globalization to post-globalization, starting from the provisions set forth in the monograph of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Lyudmila Ternovaуa “Sources of the Study of International Relations: A Projection in Time and Eternity”. Source studies have long been in the shadow of other brighter special historical disciplines: heraldry, bonistics, chronology.
