The initial stage of Russian statehood
The paper considers the initial stage of the formation of the Russian ethnos and the Old Russian statehood. The mechanisms of binding the state-forming elements are shown and the reasons for the disintegration of the state are revealed. The thesis is proclaimed that the Russian state was formed on a multi-ethnic basis, the continuation of the process that began in the form of the Old Russian multi-ethnic state.

Theoretical and practical aspects of national policy in the Russian army (Part 3)
Until 1917, to refer to a certain part of the inhabitants of Russia, the term "foreigners" was used, to which the subjects of the Russian Empire belonged. They applied a special management procedure, characterized by a reference to their origin, which did not allow the distribution to them of the full extent of the existing laws, including those on military construction. This problem for a number of reasons refers to the least studied section of the military history of Russian statehood - the role of the national factor in military construction.
This is the third part of the study of national policy in the Russian army.

Politico-legal basis of the state policy of the Russian Federation in relation to the indigenous peoples of the North
The article examines the genesis of the indigenous policy of the Russian Federation, taking into account the political and legal foundations of Russia's state policy towards indigenous small-numbered peoples of the North. The basic directions of harmonization of relations between the Russian state and indigenous peoples are determined.

Government policy in relation to the Russian Cossacks: Cossack ranks
Russian Cossacks, at the present stage of its development, has formed a need to improve legislation in the sphere of public service members of the Cossack societies listed in the state register of companies in the Russian Federation. One of the basic points in favor of the Cossack ranks alignment with military ranks, giving them the status of class ranks of the civil service.

Myth-making and the tragedy of Germanism in the light of the Chamberlain's theoretical constructions
In the article the author refers to his attitude towards understanding human life, which is not carried out in the "context of culture and society", as it is customary to treat creative biographies, but as a form and method of realizing culture and its values. In the life of a particular person, the biographical and cultural fusion takes place. The research is carried out by the author in the form of three essays on the life and activities of specific historical characters. The work was done with the involvement of new or little-known material from the field of history, culture and science.

The article contains a systematic material on the theory of "enlightened conservatism" G.-K. Kaltenbrunner (1939-2011). Byzantium and the Danube Slavs
Among the factors that determined the course of Medieval History of Eastern and Southern Europe the particular importance had the interaction between the Slavs and Byzantium. This interaction has been very useful for the Slavs and helped them to rise to a new stage of cultural development. Some aspects of this interaction are covered in this article.

The political struggle between the Socialist-Revolutionaries and right-wing monarchists in 1905-1917
Article based on a wide range of archival materials and explores the emergence of the right monarchism movement in the Russian Empire, the ideology and activities of the Black Hundred unions and organizations.
The author analyzes the inter-party discourse of the Black-Hundreds and their main opponents: liberals, social-revolutionaries, social democrats, and anarchists. The monograph looks into the basic aspects of the extra-parliamentary activity of the Black Hundred organizations promoting their own political ideals and condemning liberal and socialist movements.
