Man in history
History can rightfully be called the progenitress of all other sciences, so its very name comes from the word «knowledge.» But the path of this science was such that it proceeded from man, but did not directly study man himself as the center of historical action. The situation began to change when almost all the processes in the world reached a global scale and there was an inevitable turn of them towards their beginning, that is, towards the person himself. Without an understanding of his sense of history, she becomes politically biased and amenable to small and large adjustments.

On the issue of “unfinished disputes”
The article deals with one of the conflicts in the development of Russian historical science related to research in the field of agricultural history of Russia. The focus of attention is the scientific confrontation between the “new direction” and the leading Russian historian-agrarian I.D. Kovalchenko.

Facts are not a stubborn thing: orientation difficulties in spamming information flow
One of the most important rules for information is its conformity to reality, truthfulness. In science, proven fact has always been distinguished by validity. Historically, the extraction of fact in any field of knowledge was a difficult and responsible work of a researcher. In the period of the information revolution, with a gigantically expanded stream of the most diverse information, the very content of the concept of fact began to blur. He was buried under a pile of spam, infiltrated into business and everyday communications, politics and science. And only having realized all its harmfulness, the world community gradually begins to fight with it.

Diaries - valuable evidence of international life
The article reveals the importance of this type of personal origin documents like personal diaries to explore the history and current state of international relations. Attention is drawn to blogs not only of those individuals, the decisions of which depended the fate of many nations, but also to the possibility by analyzing the diaries to see the world through the eyes of the common man. Now the diary entries into the electronic form, because of this circumstance it is important to preserve the culture of doing diaries.

Mikhail Bulgakov about the appearance of the Soviet intelligentsia
The article analyses the views of Mikhail Bulgakov’s the essence of patriotic intellectuals, there are changes in its social appearance during the period starting with the end of the 19th century and until the end of the 1930-ies. The authors analyze his views on the nature of the problem and come to the conclusion that Bulgakov continued the tradition of consideration substantive traits of Russian intelligentsia, as they appeared in the new conditions-conditions of post-revolutionary Russia-USSR.

Migration of the population as a historical chance and historical temptation
The review reviewed three publications on the problems of international migration of the population, published in the International Publishing Center «Ethnosocium». In these works, the most important issues are raised that help to understand the complex phenomenon of international migration, identify its sociocultural and other components, outline ways of forecasting.
