Electoral culture in countering “color revolutions”

The article presents reflections related to the modern transformation of the electoral process model and changes in the quality of electoral culture. It exhibits such features and properties that make it more personality-oriented, innovative and, at the same time, corresponding to the values of the political culture of the majority of the population. The formation of this type of electoral culture becomes an obstacle to the development of electoral revolutions, which, while continuing the practice of “color revolutions,” are also aimed at dismantling the political regime and inciting external conflict along the lines of a hybrid war.

Degree of women's involvement in politics globally and in Russia in particular

When analyzing women's involvement in political life, one cannot but note the importance of historical events such as the granting of the right to vote. In Russia, this happened in 1917. However, despite significant steps in the past, women's contemporary political engagement remains low. It is important to realize that their political participation is not only a matter of justice, but also an important element of the sustainability of society's development. For example, a World Bank study found that a 10% increase in the share of women in parliaments is associated with an increase of 0.74% of GDP [11] in Europe and Central Asia. This points to women's more humanistic approach to political decisions and resource allocation and this factor may contribute to improving living standards. Women often bring unique perspectives and approaches to politics. However, despite progress, they take a back seat in advancing public policy for a variety of reasons. It is vital to remember that the future of the country's political life largely depends on efforts to raise the awareness and interest of the younger generation in politics. This is especially important at the moment of conducting the SMO.

Key words: women, politics, engagement, misinformation, equality, interest, awareness, millennials, zoomers, fakes.

Syria crisis and Iran

Iran's degree of involvement has now gone through several stages, from minimal involvement in the Syrian crisis to a permanent military presence in the country under sanctions by the Assad government. Tehran does not consider the current stage of the conflict final. Unlike non-regional players, Iran's security is more closely linked to the situation in Syria. The only domestic force capable of ensuring compliance with Iran's security interests is the government of B. Assad. The Syrian government and its allies have still not recaptured a number of areas under their control. Therefore, it is in the interests of Tehran and the Shiite groups close to it to strengthen their position in Syria, not to cut ties with friendly Syrian forces, and also not to allow Tehran to be divided in any way. Shiite groups allied with Iran are also unlikely to leave Syria or disband in the near future.

Key words: Syria, Iran, civil war, military aid, alliance, international security, diplomatic relations.

Promising directions of Russia's foreign policy in the context of the formation of a new world order

Currently, the process of forming a new world order is underway, the three main pillars of which are the principles of international law, norms of international interaction, as well as international institutions within the framework of which international cooperation between the countries of the world should be realized. The states of the Collective South strive for a multipolar world, which implies the formation of poles, their diversity and equality. This requires coordinated actions from supporters of multipolarity to form it. During this process, it is necessary to proceed from the problems that have come to light, including in the form of the Collective West’s opposition to the formation of multipolarity in order to maintain its hegemony in the world. The joint search for solutions to these problems and their subsequent implementation constitute the process of forming a new world order.
