The advance of Russians to the East and the role of Orthodoxy in this process
The beginning of the dynamic advance of Russians to the east of Eurasia was made by the capture of Ivan IV Kazan in 1552. According to the author of the article, this event served as the starting point for the transformation of Russia into a multinational state. The specific circumstances and conditions for the entry of the Udmurts, Bashkirs, Kalmyks into the Russian Power are considered. A special place in the article is given to the role of the Russian Church, which contributed to the cause of the state unification of the peoples who lived in the annexed territories. In addition, attention is paid to ethnological problems, its geographical, genetic and other aspects.

Ideas of the power of time in the Soviet economic thought 1920-1930’s
It is mistakenly believed that the theoretical origins of time management are of foreign origin. The problem of scientific organization of labor attracted domestic scientists and practitioners long before the Bolsheviks came to power, who were also actively interested in developments in this field. With the restructuring of the economy on a planned basis, new approaches to the organization of working time have become a vital necessity.
Keywords: scientific organization of labor, Taylorism, time saving, efficiency.

State-Church in the Russian Federation
In the presented article legal, social, moral and ethical aspects of relations between the state and the Church in present-day Russia are analyzed. Attention is paid to the norms contained in the Constitution of the Russian Federation relating to religion and the Church. At the same time, it is pointed out that the formal legal aspect of state-church relations does not abolish the social ministry of the Church, which is one of the significant factors ensuring the spiritual unification of the population of the Russian Federation.
Keywords: state-church relations, the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the social ministry of the Church.

“Soft law” in Russian-Ukrainian relations
The article is devoted to the problematic moments of Russian-Ukrainian relations. The authors emphasize that the severity in these relations began to accumulate significantly before February 2014, when an unconstitutional coup took place in Kiev. The article shows that until 2014, a considerable part of the problems caused by the contradictions in the relations between the two countries was solved with the help of methods inherent in the sphere of the so-called «shadow policy».
Keywords: Russia, Ukraine, Russian-Ukrainian relations, «soft law», «shadow politics».

Specificity of the political and legal situation of the Indians in North America
Disclosing the legal side of the situation of the Indians in the United States, the author notes that they are recognized as the right to self-government. It is formalized in official documents of both the federal and local level. According to these documents, the Indian tribes are independent sovereign units, separated from the states and the federal government. In this regard, the relationship of the US government with the Indian tribes can be considered as intergovernmental. However, the realities of Indian life do not always correspond to the letter of legal documents. According to the author, these realities testify to the “rather difficult situation” in the situation of Aboriginal peoples of the North American continent.
Keywords: The United States of America, the Indian tribes, the political and legal situation of the Indians.

World outlook guidelines of Russian religious philosophy
The article analyzes the most significant traditions of Russian religious philosophy. They are connected with problems of worldview. It was noted that the most important component of the methodology on which the activity of the Russian religious and philosophical school was based was special attention to spiritual and moral issues.
Keywords: Russian religious philosophy, religious factor, Orthodoxy, worldview, cultural and historical identity, spirituality, morality.

Analysis of the concept of “conservatism” and its relation to progress
The presented material is devoted to the analysis of the relationship between the concepts of “conservatism”, “progress”, “reaction”. In his reflections, the author relies on the works of the German philosopher Gerd-Klaus Kaltenbrunner, who created the theory of “enlightened conservatism.” Following G.-K. Kaltenbrunner, S.F. Kim recognizes the ambiguity of the idea is not limited to any moral and moral institutions, non-stop, reckless progress.
Keywords: conservatism, progress, reaction, capitalism, socialism, moral norms.

Afghanistan in 1978–1979 in the context of geopolitical opposition

Keywords: Foreign policy of the USSR, Cold War, Afghanistan.

The latest history of “color revolutions”
Analyzes the specificity of that form of social protest, which was called “color revolution”. The protest in the transit community differs from both spontaneous revolt, and from classical revolution. It is the result of extensive use of political and communication technologies that emphasize unprotected or poorly protected sectors of society on the most acute problems, which is prompt decision, borrowed from the practices of other, usually developed countries.
Keywords: social protest, “color revolution”, political regime, political technology.
