Muslim schools and anti-religious struggle in the Tassr in the 1920s
The research work is devoted to the history of Muslim education on the territory of the TASSR in the first years of Soviet government. For many researchers, it is an axiom that after the Bolsheviks came to power, a significant part of religious educational institutions was closed, but the archival funds data allow us to say that things were actually much more complicated.
In order to reconstruct a more accurate historical picture, the policy of the Soviet state in relation to Muslim education and the activities of Muslim schools in the conditions of the formation of a new Soviet ideology during the New Economic Policy (NEP) were examined in detail. On the basis of archival data, the actions taken by the Soviet leadership to destroy Muslim schools were studied. Also, these actions were aimed at eradicating religious consciousness and religious sentiments among the population in the 1920s. In general, the Soviet leadership in any way prevented the preservation of Muslim schools and religion.
The results of the study expand knowledge about religious education in the TASSR and refute the opinion that the inhabitants of the TASSR accepted all the changes in the field of education that were implemented by the Soviet authorities without obstacles. The existence of religion and Muslim schools did not fit into the plans of the Soviet government. And as a result of the anti-religious actions of the Soviet authorities, great changes took place not only in the history of the Tatar people, but also in the history of Muslim education.
Key words: Islam, Muslim school, Soviet power, education, school policy, anti-religious struggle.

Development of modern anti-study: review of research
The article provides a brief overview of modern research, publications and developments that have been carried out in the subject field of Antiquarian Studies. Particular attention is paid to the book by W.O. Deviller and B. Battistin Sebastiani (eds.) "Sources et modèles des historiens anciens". During the analysis, the historical retrospective of the book is examined in detail, beginning with studies on the ancient Greek historians Thucydides and Xenophonte, and continuing with the ancient Roman historiography. Particular emphasis is placed on Xenophonte's theme of religion, which is highly debatable. In addition, the way in which Xenophonte characterizes the Spartan commander Dersilides, famous for his Asian expedition, is examined. The methods of Roman historians to reconstruct the past are also outlined. This article analyzes the methodology of Polybius' historiography, and emphasizes his interest in cultural history and geography, the relationship between traditional literary clichés and the pragmatic approach in his reports on sieges, and the representations of siege descriptions. In addition, the authors' perspective on the collisions between the Greek martial tradition is presented, noting in particular the book's description of duels in Livy, the Greek and Roman epic traditions, and the intertextual relationships that unite Livy's stories as models for describing martial arts. A noteworthy fragment describes how Caesar, who departs from ancient literary traditions, uses an ethnographic description of Gallic society to justify his conquest of Gaul.

The foreign policy actions of Greece in the creation of the Greek-Serbian Alliance in 1913
This article examined the foreign policy of the Greek state to create a Greek-Serbian alliance in 1913, the main goal of which was to counter the threat from Bulgaria. The Bulgarian leadership, having disagreed with the territorial distribution in Macedonia during the first Balkan war of 1912-1913, hoping for the military power of its army, sought to become a hegemon in this region, weakening the position of Greece and Serbia. The danger from Bulgaria was the main reason for the Greek government, which sought a military-political rapprochement with Serbia, which led to the conclusion of an alliance between the two states in 1913. The creation of the Greek-Serbian alliance was an important constituent factor that influenced further historical events, both on a political and military level.
Key words: First Balkan War of 1912-1913, Greek foreign policy in the 20th century, Greek-Serbian relations, history of the Balkan Peninsula in the 20th century.
