The pain of divided cities - consequences of geopolitical games
In international relations, the changed times have manifested themselves not only in a change in the nature of the interaction system of their participants, but also in the advancement of new geopolitical actors. These include cities, and not only global, but also historical, as well as those whose fate reflects many problems of social, political, economic and spiritual development of the modern world. The presence of the corresponding problems in any city gives reason to see such a situation as a model for conflict resolution. One of the problems included in this circle is the problem of the existence on the territory in the past of a single urban space of several separated settlements belonging to different states. Most often, these settlements received the status of divided cities as a result of wars. This train of military conflicts continues to this day and prevents the resolution of many international conflicts.
Key words: geopolitics, conflict, state, people, city, wall.
