Abstract
Bairamukov A.S.
The importance of the national factor and information warfare in the Russian Federation in 2022–2025

In this article, we examine the significance of the national factor for the Russian Federation in the context of a special military operation. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of the national factor in the foreign and domestic policies of the Russian Federation during the special military operation. In this study, the author examines contemporary challenges and threats associated with attempts to destabilize a multinational state. In writing this article, the author utilized the following research methods: principles of historicism and objectivity, and comparative-historical and systems approaches to the study of political processes. The author devotes particular attention to analyzing Western concepts of "decolonization of Russia," in particular the works of Michael Casey, who views individual regions of the country as "colonial possessions." The study demonstrates that February 2022 ushered in a qualitatively new stage of confrontation between Russia and the collective West, significantly changing the principles of interaction between civilizations. The main findings of the author's study indicate that Western countries are actively using information warfare to destabilize Russian society. The author concludes that it is necessary to strengthen the unity of the multinational people of Russia in the face of modern geopolitical challenges.

Keywords: foreign policy, national factor, strategic military strategy, strategic defeat, information warfare, "decolonization," "de-imperialization," national interests of the Russian Federation.

Non-verbal communication in politics: a semiotic analysis of the gestures of politicians and government officials

The article examines the role of non-verbal communication, in particular gestures, in politics and public activity. Through the prism of semiotic analysis, the historical development of sign languages and their influence on intercultural communication, political rhetoric and symbolism of power are revealed. Various gestures that have become cultural and political symbols are considered, as well as the features of their perception in different cultural contexts. Examples from history and modern times are analyzed, illustrating the importance of body language as a powerful communication tool that influences political discourse and the formation of public opinion.

Keywords: non-verbal communication, gestures, political rhetoric, semiotics, sign languages, body language, political symbols, intercultural communication, symbolic power, political discourse.

SNT as an object of anthropological research

Gardening non-profit partnerships (SNTs) are a relic of the Soviet era: they emerged in the 1950s and united city residents who received small plots of land from the companies and organizations where they worked for recreation and the cultivation of agricultural produce for personal consumption. SNTs have survived to this day, and their legal status is now regulated by Federal Law No. 217-FZ of July 29, 2017, "On the Conduct of Gardening and Vegetable Gardening by Citizens for Their Own Needs and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation."

The article examines SNTs as part of the modern relationship between Russian citizens and their environment, as an element of the market in which land is freely bought and sold, fundamentally transforming the microclimate of these communities, bringing together people previously unconnected to one another—whether through labor relations, political unity, or property equality—in a shared community. This article's anthropological study of dacha life draws on legal regulations, data on judicial practice regarding disputes surrounding and involving SNTs, and the author's own long-term participant observation of two gardening associations established in the Moscow region, one of which is now part of New Moscow. The author's conclusions are as follows: in modern SNTs, the formation of gardening groups often takes on the barbaric forms of interpersonal or even proto-political struggle. At the same time, associations remain a sought-after form of land use and are virtually the only surviving institution of grassroots democracy in which an individual's opinion on how to organize their shared life and existence has real meaning.

Keywords: gardening non-profit partnerships, SNT, habitat, anthropology of dacha life, institute of grassroots democracy.

State borders in the digital age: the evolution of control approaches and methods

The article examines modern approaches to the control of state borders in the digital age with an emphasis on the introduction of artificial intelligence and new technologies in border security. The relevance of the research in the context of global turbulence and the transformation of borders from rigid lines into dynamic socio-political structures is substantiated. The main objectives of the study are described: analysis of the evolution of ideas about borders, study of functions and typologies of borders, as well as consideration of cross-border processes and challenges to national security, including cybercrime and terrorism. Modern methods of implementing AI in biometric control, autonomous surveillance systems, predictive analytics and digital data integration are presented. The research is aimed at expanding the theoretical and practical base of specialists in border activities and contributes to understanding the complex nature of modern borders.

Keywords: state borders, digital age, geopolitical limology, artificial intelligence, biometric control, border security, cross-border flows, international relations, cyber threats, customs logistics, autonomous surveillance systems, digital transformation, migration, security, data integration, predictive analytics.

Ethnic and religious differences as instruments of hybrid warfare

The purpose of this article is to analyze and evaluate the socio-political technologies of non-conventional confrontation based on ethnic and religious differences, and to characterize their impact on the political, legal, and economic systems, as well as on public order and security. The study uses a systematic theoretical approach based on the principles of logical operations, the application of formal logic laws, and the dialectics of political processes. A combination of general scientific and specialized methods of cognition is employed. The article explores the meaning of the category «war» through a set of political, social, and legal characteristics. The article provides a correlation with the concept of «hybrid warfare». The examined phenomena are related as a phenomenon and its property, which characterizes the use of armed and non-armed methods of warfare. Hybrid war is presented as a technology for influencing the enemy, which has a socio-philosophical and political content. In the psychological manipulation of the consciousness of individuals and certain social groups, ethnic and religious differences are used, which are specific sociocultural characteristics that form stereotypes of behavior, perception, and evaluation of historical reality, which, at the bifurcation point of socio-political and economic relations, become the causes and motivators of extremist, terrorist, and other violent actions. It is concluded that information and psychological influence based on interfaith and interethnic relations in unconventional combat operations is used to destabilize the socio-political situation and establish a favorable government regime.

Keywords: state, political process, state regime, war, hybrid and information war, social technologies, conflict, nationality, religion, mind manipulation, extremism, terrorism.

Political and legal aspects of the new formats of multilateral sports cooperation (within the framework of the CIS, SOC, BRICS)

For thousands of years, the field of physical culture and sports has been of great importance for the policy of promoting the interests of different countries on the world stage. Existing outside the political conjuncture, political conflicts and strife, it was, on the one hand, the foundation for the formation of a healthy society, friendship and mutual understanding between peoples, and on the other, an effective instrument of public diplomacy and intercultural dialogue. However, the field of physical culture and sports is currently being used by Western countries as a tool of pressure and manipulation. Many countries are experiencing difficulties in demonstrating their capabilities in the field of physical culture and sports at the international level, including Russia, which violates the basic principle of the existence of sport as a phenomenon outside politics. In particular, after the end of the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014 and the start of a special military operation in February 2022, Russia found itself embroiled in a tangle of political contradictions and discord.

Keywords: Olympic Games, competitions, politics, sports, international organizations, sanctions, information warfare.

Particular attention is paid to cultural codes, national mythology, as well as the influence of professional and social factors on the choice of call signs. The article illustrates how call signs reflect temporal changes and mental models of society, serve as an element of memory and connection with the personal and collective past, going beyond the technical function.
