Techniques and strategies for successful teaching of foreign languages
The purpose of this article is to popularize the most productive methods in teaching English. Success in teaching English can depend to a large extent on a combination of communicative methods, direct teaching and differentiated teaching. Linguists are constantly in search of the ideal teaching method, but their research has always led to methods that have both advantages and disadvantages at the same time. Our theory supports the idea that success in teaching can be achieved not through the use of any one method, but through a combination of different methods, where each method complements the other and fills in the gaps created by other methods. The general hypothesis put forward in this paper is that the choice of teaching method should not be made on the basis of the teacher's personal preferences in relation to a particular method, but on the basis of other very important factors such as: level of learning, learning styles, preferences of students, their areas of interest, etc. In conclusion, the purpose of the article is to inform English teachers about the potential that a combination of the above teaching methods and techniques can have in the learning process, making it more productive and successful at the same time.
Key words: foreign languages, differentiated teaching, series method, direct method, contextual teaching method, audiolinguistic method, alternative method, communication method, planning method, English language, methodology.

The ancient layer of Ingush ritual songs
The most archaic prayers and songs of the Ingush pagans are represented in the ancient stratum of the Ingush. They were recorded in small numbers in mountainous Ingushetia in the 19th and early 20th centuries in the original language and have come down to us in limited numbers, which increases their value as a rare ethnographic material. These prayer-songs are of considerable interest to a wide range of researchers: ethnographers – as a source of information about traditional cults, rituals and mythological representations of the Ingush; folklorists – as examples of ancient poetic creativity reflecting archaic forms of language and style; cultural scientists – to study the mechanisms of preservation and transmission of spiritual heritage in the absence of a written tradition; historians – as evidence of pre–Islamic and pre-Christian beliefs of the peoples of the Caucasus; religious scholars - in the context of a comparative analysis of pagan cults and their evolution under the influence of world religions. The study of these texts contributes not only to the deepening of knowledge about the traditional culture of the Ingush, but also to the expansion of understanding of pan-Caucasian and universal archetypes in spiritual history.
Key words: Ingush folklore, ritual songs, mythology, paganism, ethnography, priest.

The Crimean tatar issue in the politics of turkey, Russia and Ukraine in 2014–2022
The irreconcilable position of the Turkish Republic on the issue of the reunification of Crimea with Russia, which occurred as a result of the Crimean Spring and the referendum of March 16, 2014, determined its rapprochement with Ukraine, the formation of a military-political alliance between the two countries and the strengthening of the policy of containing Russia in the Black Sea region. The main factor in these processes was the Crimean Tatar issue. At the same time, relations between Turkey and Russia not only did not break off, but also continued to develop in all possible directions, including this issue. In the course of the study, the author concludes that, despite the formal support of Ukraine in the issue of its "territorial integrity", Turkey recognized the new reality that has developed in the Black Sea region "de facto". The chronological framework of this study covers the period from the Crimean Spring and the return of Crimea to the Russian Federation to the beginning of the Special Military Operation of Russia against the Kyiv regime. The relevance of the study is due to the need for a deep analysis of the role and place of the Crimean Tatar factor in the policies of Turkey, Russia and Ukraine in 2014–2022. The purpose of the study: to analyze the role of the Crimean Tatar factor in the policies of Turkey, Russia and Ukraine in 2014–2022 to form an understanding of its significance in the new geopolitical reality. The methodological basis of the study is the systemic, constructivist and geopolitical approaches.
Key words: Crimea, Crimean Tatars, Crimean Tatar issue, "soft power", pan-Turkism, neo-Ottomanism, neo-Islamism, nationalism, Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Crimean Spring.

Contemporary echoes of Ming dynasty court music
In the display cabinet of the Treasure House of the Palace Museum, a set of Ming Dynasty gilded bronze chimes are quietly displayed, and the cloud dragon patterns on the surface of the bells are shining under the light for 600 years. These sleeping ritual instruments would never have thought that on the stage of the 2021 Beijing International Music Festival, composer Tan Dun reproduced their sound spectrum with digital technology, allowing the ancient Huangzhong Dalu to engage in a dialogue with modern symphony across time and space. This postmodern music experiment just reveals the unique existence of Ming Dynasty court music in the contemporary cultural field - it is neither a specimen in a museum nor a symbol of retroism, but a living tradition that continues to participate in the construction of modern civilization.
Key words: Ming Dynasty court music, influence.

Cultural exchange between Uyghur and central plains civilizations in the 11th century
Kutadgu Bilig is a long poem written in the Uyghur language (Old Uyghur) during the 11th-century Kara-Khanid Dynasty in Chinese history. Integrating elegant ethnic poetic forms with profound philosophical insight, the work reflects the deep social realities of the ancient Uyghur people and embodies their open and inclusive cultural disposition. Spatially, the poem represents a remarkable product of the encounter and interaction between Eastern and Western civilizations at the core of the Silk Road—making it a representative case study for the exploration of cultural exchange. Temporally, the work emerged during a period when the Kara-Khanid regime had separated from Turkic rule and was transitioning from a nomadic-agricultural economy to a feudal one. Its study provides valuable insights into the ideological transformations experienced by the Uyghur state during dynastic shifts and contributes to understanding how the Uyghur people gradually integrated into the broader Chinese national community.
Key words: Kutadgu Bilig, Central Plains culture, ancient Uyghur culture, cultural exchange, cultural integration.

Dynamics of cultural interaction between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China in the late 20th – early 21st centuries (the case of the Amur region)
This article examines the dynamics of cultural interaction between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China in the late 20th to early 21st centuries, using the Amur Region as a borderland case study. It explores the historical features of Russian-Chinese cultural ties and analyzes the evolution of humanitarian cooperation forms from bilateral agreements of the 1990s to contemporary interaction mechanisms. Special attention is given to the diversity of cultural dialogue spheres, including visual arts, education, healthcare, and sports. The role of border territories as “testing grounds” for the formation of new cultural practices and overcoming intercultural barriers is investigated. The article analyzes challenges in cultural interaction related to language differences, mentalities, and the need to overcome historically ingrained stereotypes. It also considers the impact of information technologies on the development of cultural ties and the formation of the “two cities – two cultures” model, exemplified by Blagoveshchensk and Heihe. The study concludes on the strategic importance of cultural dialogue for strengthening Russian-Chinese relations and establishing a sustainable foundation for long-term cooperation.

A person on the border: the specificity of the figure of a customs officer
The very concept of "border" contains meanings that show its complexity, reflecting the state of both a transition and a barrier. The specification that we are talking specifically about the state border does not make it easier to find precise characteristics, but adds color to the responsibility for its integrity. In many ways, this task falls on people whose professional activities are directly related to the state border, namely border guards and customs officers. In the distant past, these specialties were not separated. Now, when determining the area of responsibility of each of them, it is important to articulate this specificity. In this regard, the article proposes to pay attention to a bright set of socio-cultural markers of the profession of "customs officer".
Key words: state, border, history of customs officer, socio-cultural markers.

Historical changes in trade relations of Russia in the 21st century
The article examines the dynamics of changes in the history of Russia's trade relations with world powers, and then with entire continents. The authors note that sanctions-related geopolitical changes had the strongest impact on Russia's trade prospects and opportunitiesэтом, and the events of 2022 were a catalyst for their change of vector. Sanctions pressures have become one of the leading reasons for the disruption of Russia's trade routes from the European direction to China, which has certainly led to positive consequences. The authors consider not only trends, but also quantitative changes in trade. It is important to take into account that the dollar is the most universal calculation currency, but now it is possible to convert indicators to rubles. The authors also noted the need to continue digitalization processes and support import substitution. To fully understand the current state of Russia's foreign trade, it is necessary to consider its evolution since the beginning of the century, including key stages in the development of trade policy, changes in the structure of exports and imports, as well as adaptation mechanisms applied in response to external restrictions. The future of Russia's foreign trade will depend on the ability of the state and the private sector to jointly build effective support mechanisms, adapt to a changing external environment, and use the opportunities of a multipolar world.
Key words: trade, trade relations, sanctions, trade strategies, import, export, substitution of production, geopolitics.

On some issues of officers' training at the officers' artillery school (OASH) at the beginning of the 20th century
The article analyzes the feedback from officers who completed training at the Officer Artillery School (OAS) in the early 20th century and the school's management's comments on their suggestions. The focus is on the organization of the educational process, course content, practical training, and the living and material conditions of service. The officers noted the discrepancy between the curriculum for staff officers and the requirements of future divisional officers, and also expressed wishes to reduce the duration of classroom lessons and increase practical exercises, especially in division management. The school's management acknowledged some of the comments, but pointed out limitations such as the lack of a suitable firing range and poor training of students. The theoretical shooting course was controversial: some officers considered it overloaded, while others thought it was well organized. Disputes also arose around drawing work, topography, and hippology, where opinions were divided between the need for practice and theoretical training. Particular attention is paid to material difficulties, including requests for state-owned apartments, allowances, and advance notice of business trips. The school management acknowledged the validity of these demands, but emphasized their dependence on higher authorities. The article demonstrates that, despite disagreements, both officers and the school management sought to improve the educational process, adapting it to changes in military affairs. Criticism and suggestions reflect the dynamics of the development of the OAS and its role in training qualified artillery personnel.
Key words: Artillery, Officer Artillery School, educational process, training program, officers, divisionists, practical training, theoretical shooting course, drawing work, artillery tactics, artillery materiel, topography, hippology.
