Cordon sanitaire: from medicine to geopolitics

The development of the post-Covid world continues to be influenced by the realities of that period when the efforts of the world community, states and citizens were focused on stopping the pandemic. Isolation has become one of the most common and effective measures to combat the disease. The experience of medical isolation is extremely rich and varied. Its striking form is the cordon sanitaire, which has many historical examples. This type of border, which performs a filtering function, is also in demand in geopolitics.

Key words: geopolitics, international system, limology, cordon sanitaire, medical metaphor, deglobalization.

Teacher's engineering culture

The article is devoted to a new and very important component of pedagogical culture, which, although it was present in it initially, was in a kind of “sleeping mode” for a long time. The need to deploy approaches, methods, and means of pedagogical influence on students with the help of engineering culture is a unique challenge of the digital era. However, in addition to the external need to improve the teacher’s engineering culture, there is also an internal demand, since it lies in line with those large-scale transformations of the personality that determine its communicative capabilities. If we translate these requests into the teacher’s personality, it becomes obvious that without increased attention to engineering culture, they will soon not be able to fulfill their professional responsibilities in the changed technological and digital realities and with a new generation of students.

Key words: scientific and technical potential, education, school, advanced engineering schools, teacher, engineer, engineering pedagogy, personnel shortage.

In-house strategies for reducing the negative environmental impact of leather production

Currently, the environmental well-being of Russia is under threat due to the negative impact of human activity and the results of long-term environmental pollution. These trends are significantly influenced by manufacturing sectors, in particular leather production and the manufacture of leather products. The relevance of this study is due to the growing demands of society for the environmental responsibility of business and the strengthening of legislative regulation in the field of environmental protection. Companies that implement effective strategies to reduce negative environmental impacts contribute to the conservation of natural resources, improve the quality of life and gain a competitive advantage in the market. Modern scientific developments and innovative solutions allow for more effective monitoring of environmental conditions and open up new opportunities for increasing the environmental sustainability of the production activities of business entities. The object of the study is the environmental aspects of organizing the production of leather goods. The purpose of the study is to identify effective in-house strategies aimed at minimizing negative environmental impacts at various stages of leather goods production. Research methods: analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalization, induction, deduction, analogy. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the generalization of key environmental problems in the production of leather goods and the substantiation of in-house strategic approaches to eliminate them. The research aims to improve the environmental sustainability of the industry and the formation of environmentally oriented business models.

Public administration and civic activism in the field of personal information security

The reflection of new dangers induced by the information field has been going on for several decades. The response to these threats is presented in the form of the adoption of a national policy for the implementation of information security for children, which includes a set of measures to manage and regulate the circulation of information through the coordination of management measures of all subjects, including civil society. The formulation of the problem of information hazards in relation to personality in general and the health and development of children in particular as environmental hazards is due to the shortcomings of both state regulation of information turnover and self-regulation of the media industry. These are factors in the creation of civil institutions for the control of information turnover and civil activism in solving problems of personal information security.

Key words: public control, public administration, information security, civic engagement, digital risks, factors of civic activism.

The development and value identification construction of films of ethnic minorities with small population in Heilongjiang province in the era of new globalization

Strengthening the sense of community among the Chinese nation has been an important goal in the development of Chinese ethnic minority films for over 70 years. Represented by ethnic minorities such as the Mongolian, Hui, Tibetan, and Dai ethnic groups, fruitful achievements have been made in both artistic creation and industrial development. However, ethnic minorities with a relatively small population in Heilongjiang have not found a place in the existing ethnic film landscape. This is not only related to the current situation of nationalities’ development, but also a manifestation of the lack of accurate understanding and proactive participation in the modernization construction of the "community". Therefore, in the face of the new wave of globalization, it is extremely necessary to update our concepts in a timely manner, seek to build a "community" vision at the local, regional, national, and transnational levels of mutual integration, and promote the practice of film culture with an open and inclusive value identity.

Key words: Heilongjiang ethnic minorities, film, national perspective, aesthetic subjectivity, community narrative.
