Comparative analysis of participial verb phrases in Tajik and ways of their expression in English
Participial verb phrases are a distinguishing feature of Tajik syntax, significantly enhancing its expressive capacity. The given article presents a comparative analysis of such phrases in Tajik and dwells on their translation and ways of expressions into English. Despite the usage of participles in the compared languages, their grammatical functions, syntactic placement, and semantic nuances differ considerably. The article under consideration discusses these differences, drawing on data from literary texts and linguistic corpora. A mixed-methods approach is employed, combining qualitative analysis of participial constructions with quantitative data on their frequency and distribution. The findings reveal that rendering Tajik participial phrases into English often requires syntactic restructuring, lexical modification, and careful attention to aspectual and temporal distinctions. The article proposes a typology of strategies for translating and expressing these phrases into English, including subordination, coordination, nominalization, and the usage of finite verb forms.

Comparison of artistic expressions of Chinese and Russian fairy tales
Fairy tales are an important component of children's literature and are stories created by authors in their minds. This article takes the different cultural backgrounds of China and Russia as the starting point, compares the literary works of the two countries, and identifies the differences in historical backgrounds and social phenomena from fairy tales. Fantasy is a fundamental characteristic of fairy tales and an important creative method. However, the fantasies in fairy tales all originate from reality and are reflections of life. Fairy tale creation generally uses exaggerated and anthropomorphic rhetorical methods, following a certain logic to weave fantasy plots, forming a strong fantasy atmosphere to achieve a realistic level. Different fairy tales present different styles due to differences in authors, ethnicities, and eras. I hope that through this study, more people can have a deeper understanding and comprehension of the literary styles, fairy tale creations, historical backgrounds, and social phenomena of the two countries.
Key words: fairy tale, artistic expression, Chinese-Russian culture, literature, comparative analysis, national literature, Chinese-Russian fairy tales.

Images of giants in the ingush nart epic
The article talks about the images of giants in the Ingush version of the Nart epic. In them, giants are shown as both positive and negative heroes. In the Ingush Nart epic, the giants (vampols) illustrate the time of communal organization, the early Archaic, when the world was entirely sacred, as it was consecrated by the cult of ancestors. Along with the common features with the giants from the Caucasian nartiads (Adyghe inizh, Karachay-Balkarian emegen, Abkhazian adau and Ossetian uayug) – scale, strength, one–eyed, fire-spewing, multi–headedness - the Ingush idol has a specificity - two-mouthedness, the semantics of which correlates with the ability to reproduce itself. The mythological image of the giant as a cultural hero and mythical creature of the Nart epic is considered. It is shown that the vampire refers to mythical creatures with a stable appearance. The article also says that the giants lived near the sleds under huge hills or in inaccessible gorges. In early legends, sleds and giants.

Comparative analysis of semantico-functional peculiarities of the particle only/tanho in english and tajik
The given article dwells on issues beset with the study of comparative analysis of semantico-functional peculiarities of the particle only/tanho in English and Tajik. It is underscored that particles - linguistic unit arise in an unusual environment in speech at the speaker`s request, perform unusual functions for itself, and become similar to an element that usually occupy this position in terms of their properties, and help to consolidate the new shade of meanings in sentence. It is proven that the semantics and functions of the relevant particle is important to compare it with other words and Tajik equivalents.
In a nutshell, one can come to the conclusion that the particle only is used and translated as different parts of speech (nouns, adjectives, numbers, pronouns, and adverbs in Tajik), and came in the composition of some set of phrases. The most frequently-used Tajik equivalent of the particle only is tanho in Tajik.

Comparative analysis of lexico-morphological peculiarities of interjections denoting sorrow in Tajik and English
The given article dwells on the lexico-morphological peculiarities of interjections denoting sorrow in Tajik and English, employing a comparative analysis based on “Ghulonon” by Sadriddin Aini. The study examines how these interjections, often characterized by their brevity and exclamatory nature, function within the syntactic and pragmatic contexts of both languages. It focuses on identifying differences and similarities in their formation, phonological features, semantic scope, and usage, drawing on examples from Aini's work. The analysis reveals significant typological differences stemming from the agglutinative nature of Tajik morphology, where interjections often derive from verbs or nouns, in contrast to the more analytical structure of English, where interjections tend to be phonologically distinct and less morphologically complex. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of cross-linguistic variation in the expression of emotion, with implications for translation, language pedagogy, and contrastive linguistics.

The role of a teacher in teaching English to students at a university
The article discusses topical issues related to the role of a teacher in teaching English in a non-linguistic university. The issues necessary not only for obtaining knowledge, but also for acquiring professional skills, experience in creative and research activities to solve various problems are also touched upon. The role of a teacher in modern society cannot be described in words. After all, it is the teacher who lays the foundation of knowledge, shapes the worldview and determines the life path of all generations. The problem of the relationship between a teacher and a student is one of the most urgent problems in modern pedagogy. The main goal of the teacher is to transfer knowledge of the English language to students. The teacher is facing incredibly difficult situations. He has to work with children who grew up in the digital world, have access to a huge amount of information and have a high level of digital literacy. This requires the teacher not only to have a deep knowledge of his subject, but also the ability to effectively use new technologies, adapt techniques to modern realities and take into account changes in the psychology of the younger generation. The teacher needs to be able to find an individual approach to each student. A teacher is not just a transmitter of knowledge, it is a mentor, educator, inspirer. It depends on him how successfully a student adapts to life in society, how successful he will be in his future profession. The teacher forms such important qualities in students as curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, sociability, responsibility. The teaching profession is one of the most important and noble professions. No wonder they say that a teacher is not just a profession, but a vocation.

Economic cooperation Madagascar-China
The article examines the problematic aspects of Madagascar-China economic cooperation, primarily in the area of exploitation of the island's natural resources. It analyzes the environmental impacts of Chinese companies' activities, including large-scale deforestation, unregulated mining and predatory marine fishing, which pose a serious threat to Madagascar's unique biodiversity. Particular attention is paid to the socio-economic consequences of such cooperation: increased inequality, increased corruption, and deterioration in food security for the local population. It is noted that the lack of transparency in the interaction of Chinese businesses with the country's political elite and Madagascar's growing economic dependence on China are causing justified concern among civil society. The paper substantiates the need to revise the existing model of cooperation in favor of a more balanced approach that takes into account the interests of sustainable development and social justice.

The Black Sea coastline in ancient times as a navigation factor
The article examines the importance of the Black Sea coastline as a key navigational factor in the ancient period. In conditions of limited technical equipment and the absence of modern navigational instruments, ancient sailors relied on natural landmarks provided by the coastline. The author focuses on the geographical and natural features of the coast, such as mountain ranges, capes, bays and river mouths, which served as important landmarks for ancient navigators.
The article also analyzes archaeological data indicating the importance of the coastline for the organization of ancient sea routes, the location of ports and trade. Particular attention is paid to such strategically important points as the Cimmerian Bosporus, Sinop Bay and the mouths of large rivers such as the Danube and Dnieper. These geographical features not only contributed to safe navigation, but also played an important role in the economic development of coastal areas and strengthening cultural ties between different peoples.
In addition, the study addresses the issue of changes in the coastline under the influence of natural factors and their impact on navigation. Seasonal fluctuations in sea level, wind patterns and sea currents are analyzed from the point of view of their impact on routes and navigation safety.
As a result of the study, a significant dependence of ancient navigation on the geographical and climatic conditions of the Black Sea coast was revealed. The data obtained allow us to better understand how the natural features of the region determined the development of maritime trade and the interaction of civilizations in the ancient period.
Key words: Black Sea, antiquity, navigation, coastline, navigation, archeology, ancient ports, natural landmarks, climatic conditions, trade routes, Black Sea basin, natural landmarks.

Some unidentified mytho-folk motif of the abkhaz-adyghe with global and local distribution
This work is devoted to the study of mythical and folklore motifs in the tenth Abkhaz-Adyghe folklore and the role of digitalization in the humanities. Motives are analyzed within the framework of resource augmentation (or database) developed by Yu.E. Berezkin and E.N. Duvakin, which makes it possible to identify patterns in the global distribution of myths and analyze cultural relationships.
Insufficient integration of ethnographic material with the electronic catalog and the lack of completeness of mythological motifs limit the understanding of the cultural context of the Abkhaz-Adygs. The article examines some unidentified and unrecorded Abkhaz-Adyghe mythological and folklore motifs, paying attention to their local and global distribution. Key sources on Abkhaz-Adyghe folklore are discussed, including materials from ethnographers unpublished in Russian, as well as original material that has yet to be integrated into an electronic resource to identify new motives.
In addition, the work examines certain motifs that confirm the specific connections of the Abkhaz-Adyghe mythological and folklore traditions with the Balkan-Carpathian region and ancient Anatolia, noted by a number of researchers.
Key words: myths, folklore, Abkhazians, Circassians, Abazas, Balkans, Caucasus.

On the question of the role of the economic council system in Soviet timber exports in the late 1950s (based on materials from the Arkhangelsk Economic Council)
The article is devoted to the analysis of the activities of the Arkhangelsk Economic Council in the sphere of ensuring the export of timber at the beginning of the Khrushchev economic council system from 1957 to 1960. In the author's opinion, the relationship between the factor of regional governance features and the state of export has not been sufficiently studied in the historical literature. The author tried to solve this problem based on the study of the office materials of the funds of the Arkhangelsk Economic Council, the Arkhangelsk Regional Committee of the CPSU and the Soviet Control Commission of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR.
The article describes the main problems in the field of Soviet timber export and the attempts of the new economic elites of the region to solve them. The text reveals how the positive and negative features of the economic council system, such as localism, the apparatus of "pushers" and lobbying of the leadership influenced the export of sawn timber. The author came to the conclusion about the ambiguity of the influence of the territorial principle, both on export and on the entire Soviet timber industry.

The Pandemonium of the Early Cold War: the Image of the Enemy in the Literature of Late Stalinism on the example of V.D. Ivanov's writings
The article analyzes from an imagological point of view and with the methodology of historical-discursive analysis the works of the Russian Soviet writer Valentin Dmitrievich Ivanov, published during the period of late Stalinism (1945-1953).
Based on the analysis of V.D. Ivanov's works published during the early Cold War, the author comes to the conclusion that they reflected in the most prominent and distilled form the main trends and trends in portraying the image of the enemy immediately after the Second World War, namely: as obsessed with weapons of mass destruction and the complete extermination of the population of the Soviet Union, «an employee of death and an enemy of life»; as a complete successor and continuator of Nazi Germany; as a misanthrope and borderline sociopath who does not knows and does not respects neither world culture nor human dignity; and as a spiteful never-do-well inside the country.
This allows us to partially question the well-established opinion among American researchers that in novels of the genre of socialist realism of that time, the main negative characters usually appeared as antagonists rather than irreconcilable enemies.
Key words: imagology, Cold War, late stalinism, propaganda, image of enemy.

Representation of the culture of the kola Sammi in ethno tourism projects of the Murmansk region
Today, the Murmansk Region is one of the leading regions in the sphere of Arctic tourism, which is becoming increasingly popular. Ethnotourism associated with the culture and traditions of the indigenous population – the Kola Sami – is actively developing in the region. The culture of the Kola Sami is popularized through various tourist sites and cultural events (including museum expositions, exhibitions and fairs, national holidays, ethnic villages, etc.), which represent the images and symbols of the ethnocultural heritage of this people. On the one hand, the creation of a brand of the Kola North based on the Sami traditions and heritage allows tourists to better understand and appreciate the richness of the local culture and contributes to the formation of a positive image of the region. On the other hand, the development of ethnotourism is a complex process that requires a responsible approach and a balance between commercial interests and the preservation of cultural heritage. An important aspect is the establishment of a dialogue between representatives of the tourism sector, activists of the indigenous population and local authorities. Such cooperation allows for the development of initiatives that contribute to the socio-economic development of the region, as well as the preservation and popularization of the ethnocultural heritage of the Kola Sami.
Key words: Kola Sami, cultural heritage, Murmansk region, representation, tourism, ethno projects.
