The article considers the political formation of the Russian centralized state, which began with the process of nominating Moscow as the center of political unification of the Russian lands. This was facilitated by a number of significant factors.

The heirs of Byzantium. Don Cossacks and Romei
The Byzantine Empire gave civilizations to many peoples of the Mediterranean and Black Seas. Acting as a spiritual basis for the Russian statehood, it influenced the development of the peoples of our country. And the Cossacks, representing “the most active part of the citizens of our great Russia,” were no exception. The study of the connections between the Don and the Byzantine Empire will be devoted to our study.

Some pages of the history of relations of Russia with Byzantium
The roots and the origins of Russian civilization largely is associated with the Byzantine Empire. From the first moments of its history, Russia has interacted with Byzantium, taking her experience in nation-building, development of culture, education, religion. Some aspects of this interaction are illuminated in this article.

The Orthodox Church in the system of statehood of Imperial Russia
It is historically known that the imperial period in the history of Russia begins with Peter I. He was proclaimed emperor in 1721, but ruled by the state from 1689. The article considers the system of statehood of imperial Russia on the example of the Orthodox Church.

Strengthening the unity of the Russian nation and ethno-cultural development of the peoples of Russia
In the given work the results of critical and analytical review based on the information about historical development of the Russian multi-ethnic state in the forming of the Dagestan ethno-political and ethno-cultural unity in the North Caucasus.
There are given the data on the existing problems in the conducting Russian intercultural policy to ensure the nonconfrontational ethnic interaction.
The basic factors that contribute to inter-ethnic strife and weaken the state, such as voluntary concepts and unbalance of internal policy in the course of evolutionary development of the Caucasus region.
The conclusion is that the solution of the problem is defined in the flexible planning of the national policy of the state on the principles of democracy and federalism.

At present, indigenous minorities are not experiencing the best period of their existence. The current misfortune of the indigenous inhabitants of the northern regions is a legacy of the past, which was formed under the influence of a policy of domination and assimilation, formed from many directions of state policy.

Restructuring of the educational organization: «cadres decide everything»
Successful restructuring of the educational organization requires a harmonious combination of all aspects of the organization’s activities, namely, the improvement of the management system, financial and economic policies, its operating activities, the marketing and service delivery system, and personnel management. The latter component is decisive, since it affects all elements of the restructuring mechanism and ensures the formation of quality organizational business processes aimed at changing the structure of the organization. This leads to the need for changes in the process of personnel management of the organization and an objective assessment of the effectiveness of the work of the HR department during the restructuring period.

Black-Hundred Alliances in the Election Campaigns of 1906-1912
In this point of the study, the author is interested not only in the election campaigns and legislative activity of deputies of right-wing parties and nationalists in the State Duma, but primarily the very activities of members of the right-monarchical organizations of deputies and senators - the Russian Assembly, the Russian Monarchist Party, people, as well as after the division of the latter in 1907 Union of the Russian people.
