The influence of the Brest-Litovsk peace on Russian-Turkish relations
The article is devoted to the consequences of the Brest-Litovsk Peace Treaty and its impact on the political situation of Soviet Russia and the Ottoman Empire. If the Brest-Litovsk Treaty with Soviet Russia brought great losses for Russia, then for other countries that signed it, it brought different results. In particular, thanks to this treaty, the Ottoman Empire was able to regain the occupied provinces of Kars, Ardagan and Batum. Moreover, the fact that Russia recognized the right of peoples to determine their own destiny forced the Ottoman Empire to take advantage of this situation. Other studies on this topic have mainly used Turkish and German documents. The difference between this study and others is that it focuses on Russian sources and sheds light on the ongoing disputes about this peace treaty in the internal politics of Soviet Russia. The study assesses in general terms the path that led Soviet Russia to the Brest-Litovsk Treaty, the events that developed after the signing of the treaty, and the results that appeared after the signing of the peace treaty, both in relation to Soviet Russia and the Ottoman Empire.

Face of the Era: the Russian Academy of Management as an example of the social transition from the Soviet system to the modern world (1991–1994)
A special historical period in the life of Russia - the stage from the putsch in 1991 to the adoption of the Russian Constitution in 1993. This "timelessness" included an entire era of transformation of politics, economics, social sphere, a kind of transit from the Soviet regime to democracy. Special trials, as is natural, fell to the lot of various organizations of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union - the party itself was banned, but its formations, such as the Academy of Social Sciences of the Central Committee of the CPSU, actively fought for their existence, and some of them, including the Academy itself in a modified form, were able to survive. The university changed its name, became the Russian Academy of Management (RAU), new people came to the leadership, but the teaching staff itself not only withstood the storms of that time, but also managed to gain authority, quickly find themselves in the changed conditions. The article, based on documents from the Russian State Archive of Social and Political History (RGASPI) being put into circulation for the first time, examines the short-lived but very important fate of the RAU for the modern system of training management personnel, and along with it, the history of the country.
Key words: Russian Academy of Management, collapse of the USSR, personnel training, democratic development.

Implementation of nanomaterials and new technologies to improve skin properties, such as water-respellent and anti-microbial coatings
Leather as a production material is widely used in the work of designers. It is used in the manufacture of clothing, shoes, furniture, and cars. Leather is valued for its unique aesthetic and durable qualities, however, like any natural material, it is susceptible to wear, damage and microorganisms. The level and dynamics of modern requirements for the quality and functionality of leather products determine the increased activity of scientific and technological research aimed at finding new ways to improve the properties of leather in the work of a designer. In particular, one of the most advanced technologies with significant promising potential is nanotechnology. Modern developments in this area make it possible to protect leather from moisture and microbes, preserve its natural beauty and generally improve the quality of leather products. Nanomaterials can significantly extend the service life of products, improve their consumer properties and, most importantly, make them safer and more hygienic to use. The object of the study is the water-repellent and antimicrobial properties of leather in the work of a designer. The purpose of the study is to characterize innovative technological processes and nanomaterials used to treat leather and impart improved water-repellent and antimicrobial properties to it. Research methods: theoretical analysis - study of scientific works, generalization of advanced innovative developments in the field of leather processing, deduction and induction. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the systematization of currently existing advanced and promising technologies that improve the water-repellent and antimicrobial properties of skin in the work of a designer.
Key words: designer's work, use of leather products, improvement of leather properties, introduction of nanomaterials, introduction of new technologies, water-repellent coatings, antimicrobial coatings.
