Slang in the linguistic culture of modern youth
Slang has existed and exists at any time, is constantly changing and is closely related to the social or age group where it is used. History of state-confessional relations in Russia
The history of interaction between the state and religious associations is connected with the history of Orthodoxy and other confessions in Russia. It is possible to distinguish three periods in the history of state-confessional relations that differ significantly from each other, but, at the same time, are not opposite to each other, preparing the ground for events taking place in the subsequent period. State-confessional relations characterize the relations of the state with religious associations of different faiths and denominations.

Abazines in St. Petersburg: history of the formation of the national elite
The article attempted to show the history of the formation of the national elite of the Abazi people on the banks of the Neva. Regardless of the change in the socio-economic and political system, St. Petersburg for representatives of various peoples remained and remains the northern cultural capital. As the study showed, the acquaintance of representatives of the small Abazin people with this city began in the 19th century. During this period, the Abazins, along with the rest of the peoples of the Caucasus, got the opportunity to serve in St. Petersburg and enter the higher military educational institutions of the city on the Neva. For the most part, these were the children of representatives of the Abazin nobility, who sought to give them not only a quality education, but also a chance of career growth. This trend is still observed at the present time. Many representatives of the Abazin people, thanks to the education received in this city, were able to make a brilliant career and take a worthy place among representatives of a multinational and multi-denominational city. A significant part of the elite of the Abzin people achieved great results in various areas of politics, economy, culture, precisely because of their knowledge and experience gained living, working, studying in various educational institutions of the city.
Unfortunately, there are still no works devoted to the study of the history of the Abazi people in St. Petersburg. This article represents the initial stage of this work and does not claim the completeness of the stated topic. At the same time, this study may form the basis of future research on the declared topic. When working on the article, methods of theoretical and empirical research were used.
Key words: Petersburg, abazines, culture, education, military service, elite, career, city.

Traditions and evolution of the historiography of Russian university education in the 19th - the first half of the 20th centuries
The authors explore the problems of the historiography of the Russian university system, which dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. The focus is on works devoted to higher education policy, the specifics of Soviet historiography on the topic. The evolution of methodological aspects of the study of the history of university education and science, their relationship with the cultural space of the region and the city, as well as significant aspects and trends in the coverage of the history of individual universities are traced. The focus is on the evolution and traditions of the historiography of Moscow, Kazan and St. Petersburg universities, identified in accordance with the principle of socio-cultural specificity and strategic objectives of these educational institutions. A significant segment of the historiography of Kazan University is focused on the traditions of Oriental studies, which flourished in the second quarter of the 19th century and played a significant role in overcoming the stereotyped image of the East and Russia in Europe. Kazan Oriental Studies was a kind of mirror of the Eurasian component of the mission of one of the oldest universities in Russia. The tendencies of the historiography of university education and science over the course of a century and a half are revealed. An analysis of historiography has shown that modern works on the history of Russian universities, while maintaining certain traditions of Soviet historiography, have managed to significantly expand the scope of research, using both the favorable consequences of reducing dependence on the political situation, and methodological innovations associated with the spread of social history, the history of elites, cultural -anthropological approaches, studies of historical memory, intellectual history in general.
Key words: universities, history, historiography, higher education.

Historical space as a factor in the development of the culture of entrepreneurship in the Far East of Russia at the beginning of the XXI century
The article analyzes the development of modern Russian entrepreneurship as a new business model, formed in the conditions of social chaos, acute political struggle, when the general recognition of the need for reforms was accompanied by their containment. It is shown that the results of the development of entrepreneurship depended on two factors: the existing historical space, which was rooted in the pre-revolutionary and Soviet periods of the development of the Russian Far East, where there were historical features, and on the culture of entrepreneurship as a modern social problem.
Main part (methodology, results). The following principles were used as the basis for the choice of methodological tools: historicism - for the reconstruction of the past, the study of the present, the historical vision of the future; objectivity - for a holistic "multi-aspect" consideration of the issue after determining its boundaries; contradictions - for the consideration and analysis of various historical concepts; determinism - to identify a universal logical connection, the cause of the conditionality of all phenomena of the historical paradigm; reliability - in the use of various types of sources (statistical, written, Internet materials, works of domestic and foreign authors, etc.) to develop the concepts of the authors.
The study was carried out by methods: perspective lines, multifaceted modeling and complementarity. The basis of the system-structural method was the approaches: civilizational, systemic and problem-chronological.
Scientific novelty - in the formulation of the research topic, which made it possible to show the specifics of the formation of modern entrepreneurship and the reasons that did not allow it to fulfill its historical functions.
Key words: historical space, entrepreneurial culture, Russia, Far East, middle class, state, new functions.

Russia in the Middle East: the formation of the international status of the country
Russia in its history of international relations and foreign policy very often took the place of not the most central power, but still not the last in the hierarchy of these relations. As the political situation in its country changed, beginning in the 1990s, Moscow began to lose its influence in the region and, to some extent, in the world as a whole. “Returning” to the East, Moscow seeks to regain all the positions it previously lost after the collapse of the Soviet Union, namely the status of a Great Power and a major world player.
