Future is created in the past?
There are many possible answers to the question of why you need to know the history. Far from the first place among the answers is the explanation that the knowledge of history opens up a picture of the future. Understanding of this connection comes to humanity only now. Even not all of the forecasts of world development that were published ten years ago show the dependence of the future on the past. The articles presented in this issue of the journal "The Power of History, History of Power" revealed areas where this relationship is indicated very clearly.
Key words: history, public administration, futurology, world development forecasts, labor market.

Roman Empire and its geopolitical heritage
The chapter deals with that segment of history of international relations and contemporary geopolitics, which intersect at the point of collision of interests of international actors, to which they came as a result of pretension to the role of heirs of one of the greatest statesmen and simultaneously proto integration formations - the Roman Empire. Reference to historical sources, finding not only in the geopolitical projects, but also myths, justifies contemporary geopolitical ambitions of such actors.
Key words: geopolitics, empire, civilization, priority management, sociology of imagination.

International Labor Organization: a century of experience in regulating social and labor relations
Over its hundred-year history, the International Labor Organization has established itself as one of the most authoritative international structures. The recognition of the merits of the organization is based on its genuine concern for the interests of the working person, the protection of his rights, and the safety of working and rest conditions. The organization has an extensive rule-making base in which almost all the main provisions concerning the legal regulation of social and labor relations are enshrined.
Key words: international law, International Labor Organization, United Nations, social and labor relations, employment, labor safety.

International Labor Code
The International Labor Organization in 2019 is one hundred years old. This structure is a kind of organizational bridge from the League of Nations to the United Nations, becoming its first specialized agency. Mot distinguishes not only a fundamentally important area of competence, but a deeply developed legal framework, which is figuratively called the international labor code.
Key words: international law, charter, declaration, convention, recommendation.

Digital economy and human-centered nature of work
The digital economy is no longer perceived as a fantastic project. It greatly transformed all aspects of human life. As with any economic model, the digital economy exhibits positive and negative characteristics, directly affecting both the individual worker and the labor market as a whole. On the one hand, it contributes to the development of human-oriented processes, and, on the other hand, displacing certain categories of workers, creating risks to personal security and other challenges, itself turns into a threat to social security. This threat can be dealt with, knowing the laws of the digital economy and knowing how to predict its development.
Key words: human-oriented economy, work organization, personal efficiency, digital space, time management.
Vrajnova M.N.
New personnel security features
As the areas of human activity expand, there is an increase in areas in which it is necessary not only to move forward, but also to ensure the safety of people employed in them. The birth of the concept of “personnel security” and its filling with concrete content became logical. The next step was the introduction of the study of issues of personnel security in universities.
Key words: labor, human capital, personnel, social security, personnel security.

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams
In the difficult period of social transformations, education enters as a lifeline for people and society. And we are talking not only about creating a knowledge base, but also shaping the human capital necessary for survival and advancement. For nearly a thousand years, the university system has served as its reliable supplier to the public. But in addition to vocational training, students in high school receive enormous experience in social interaction based on corporate principles. It is the student corporatism that fills the training with a special university magic, to which future specialists repeatedly turn to postgraduate years.
Key words: human capital, high school, universities, students, corporate.
