Trade and economic relations between Russia and China in the context of development of the northeastern regions of the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Far East
The article discusses the prerequisites for the development of cross-border cooperation between Russia and China. After proving the importance of the strategic partnership between China and Russia at the level of economy and trade and considering the legal framework for the development of the northeastern regions of the People's Republic of China and the Russian Far East, the article draws attention to the dynamics of trade development between the border regions of China and Russia, which is not stable. The Far Eastern Federal District has a rich trade and industrial potential, but, as the analysis of documents shows, favorable conditions for the development of cross-border trade and economic ties are not fully realized neither in the Russian nor in the Chinese sections of the border area. And at the same time, the regional authorities of the Chinese border territories keep the course on the use of Russia's economic potential for the needs of Northeast China, agree on plans and projects concerning the practical development of the bordering territories of the two states and recommend the Russian government to develop a strategy of cross-border cooperation with China.

Influence of 5G on the development of the concept of "smart cities" in the RF
According to UN reports, the share of the world's urban population is currently approximately 55%, while by the middle of the 21st century this figure is expected to grow to 68%. This trend suggests the need to introduce new solutions for managing urban infrastructure. In particular, the initiative to create smart cities that involves inter-object exchange of large volumes of data stands out. In this area, both in the world and in Russia, projects are being implemented to introduce 5G technologies that facilitate the rapid transfer of large data without delays, and the latest technological solutions adapted for modern networks are being developed. The fifth generation of mobile communications (5G) is an advanced technology platform that can radically transform the existing infrastructure of urban spaces, optimizing its functioning and improving the quality of life of citizens. As part of smart cities, 5G provides uninterrupted communications and high data transfer speeds, which is important for the integration of various devices and systems. Considering the current trends in urbanization and Russia’s desire to increase the efficiency of urban management and improve the quality of life of the population, the study of the impact of 5G on the development of the concept of “smart cities” is highly relevant. The object of the study is the concept of “smart cities” in the Russian Federation.
