A model for choosing new business directions for a small enterprise in conditions of macroeconomic instability
The article deals with the most important issues of choosing new areas of activity for a small enterprise under the condition of instability in the external environment and uncertainty. It is noted the importance of using adaptation mechanisms in such a situation and the need for a particularly attentive approach to strategic activities, although in a crisis, as a rule, most managers concentrate on solving minor problems. The author of the article proposes a model for choosing new strategic directions of development depending on the projected growth rates of the market where a small enterprise operates. Depending on the competitive position of the company, the availability of unique competitive advantages, the availability of various types of resources for further development, strategic alternatives for development are offered. The presented model allows you to make an informed choice of a new business direction for the company. It is noted that when entering new market segments, it is important to take into account not only the state of the external environment, but also the needs of the target audience, the availability of suppliers, the development of competition, as well as support measures from the state. Attention is also focused on the need to adapt the marketing activities of a small enterprise and the introduction of a risk-based approach in the context of changing strategic development goals.

Economic aspects of the repeatability of the construction industry growth rates

The author notes that at the present stage, taking into account the growth of mortgage lending, as well as increased investment in the domestic construction sector, significant prospects have opened up for players in the construction market. However, it is necessary to clearly assess the trends in the development of the construction market, since in the saturation phase, consumers will shift their priorities to the quality of services provided and the final product, and for this reason, construction companies should not only increase the pace of construction, but also increase the degree of quality control and safety. A retrospective analysis of the development of Mali in the post-colonial period
The transformation of the economy has been in the field of view of many well-known scientists for more than a dozen years, while a number of concepts have been put forward for the transition to a market economic system from “shock therapy” to the Washington Consensus, but as practice shows, they do not have the desired effect. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to assess the economic development of African countries in the post-colonial period as a vivid example of a transformational transition to a market economy. To achieve this goal, such general scientific methods as analysis and synthesis, historical and comparison were used, in addition, mathematical and statistical methods were used. The following points can be named as the main results: the liberation of African countries from the control of the developed countries of the world launched transformational processes aimed at the transition to a sustainable market economy, but not all republics fully used their potential, which is due to a number of factors, such as general disorganization, agrarian orientation of the economy, lack of qualified labor resources, excess population, inefficient spending of international investments, ongoing military-political coups; consideration of the historical path of a typical representative of African countries, namely the Republic of Mali, in the interval 1960-1990, showed the presence of all of the above reasons that negatively affect the transformation of its economy. Directions for further research are seen in the development of econometric models of the transition period for a number of African countries.
Keywords: transformation of the economy, transition processes, structure of the economy, post-colonial time, dynamics of indicators.
