Making investment decisions taking into account risks in the country's domestic policy, implications for venture capital
One of the results of the development of information and communication technologies is the increase in the number of neologisms in the language, which mainly express special terminological concepts. In relation to economics, new terms, according to the observations of researchers, form the overwhelming majority (up to 90%). Domestic philologists and economists today record the emergence of a large number of new Russian-language terms created as compensation for conceptual gaps. When starting to consider the stated topic, it is important to master a unified terminological apparatus to eliminate dual interpretations. The unity of economic terminology is based on a systematic approach to basic concepts.
Keywords: country, economy, development, capital, domestic policy, investment.

Scenario forecasting of alternative investment risk trajectories
Scenario forecasting provides a flexible way of dealing with uncertainty that goes beyond traditional linear forecasting methods. This paper discusses the foundations and implementation of scenario forecasting, highlighting its ability to deal with the complex nature of uncertainty. The essence of scenario forecasting is the development of credible scenarios based on a thorough qualitative and quantitative assessment of various data sources. Scenario forecasting is based on the use of scenario matrices that identify important drivers of change and allow several possible scenarios to be considered. From a mathematical point of view, scenario matrices serve as a systematic framework for depicting different scenarios, providing decision makers with a clear visual representation of promising future outcomes. Moreover, Monte Carlo simulation is a very effective technique that aids probabilistic reasoning by generating a wide range of possible outcomes. By integrating alternative trajectories into the forecasting process, decision makers gain important insights into the likelihood and consequences of different scenarios. Scenario forecasting allows companies to develop the flexibility and ability to deal with uncertainty, enabling them to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world.
The outcome of the study suggests an integrated approach to scenario forecasting and possible alternative trajectories for the subsequent development of adaptive risk mitigation plans.
An integrated approach to scenario forecasting and possible alternative trajectories for the subsequent development of adaptive risk mitigation plans is proposed.
Keywords: scenario forecasting, alternative trajectories, scenario matrices.

Double taxation in the context of international cooperation with the SCO and BRICS member-states
Within the framework of international cooperation, double taxation is an important factor, which has a significant impact on trade and economic transactions, both domestically and internationally, and is one of the tools of tax planning. The process of double taxation consists in the fact that a taxpayer can be taxed twice from the same taxable object in two countries, which leads to a decrease in profits due to increased costs, which certainly leads to a decrease in incentives for investment and entrepreneurial activity.
This fact undoubtedly creates barriers to economic cooperation and growth. In order to avoid these consequences, the member countries of the SCO and BRICS associations conclude bilateral and multilateral agreements on the avoidance of double taxation in order to stimulate economic activity.
This article examines the interaction of the Russian Federation with international economic associations – the SCO and BRICS in the context of economic sanctions against the Russian Federation by the member states of the European Union (EU) and the United States. Therefore, the member countries of the associations are becoming important players in the global economy, and have recognized the need to address issues related to double taxation.
Based on the analysis of the concluded agreements on the avoidance of double taxation of the member countries of the associations, the article gives an idea of the ways and methods of this process within the framework of trade and economic relations, which, on the one hand, will certainly contribute to reducing the level of tax burden, and on the other hand, expands the framework of inter-country cooperation in the current political situation in the world.
Keywords: double taxation, trade and economic transactions, international investments, bilateral and multilateral treaties and agreements.
