Public resources of economic research: numerical comparisons for Russia and the middle east
The concept and structure of the publication resource for the purpose of promulgation of economic research are considered. Numerical indicators compare the publication opportunities of the VAK List with other resources and foreign indexed editions of the near abroad. The problems of transformation of specialized publications from one publication resource into other indices and citation indicators are reflected.

Geopolitical aspects of children’s recreation in Crimea
The history of the organization of summer holidays for children is almost a century and a half. Russia in this respect did not lag behind foreign countries. And in sanatorium-resort treatment even was ahead, because special centers were created, the first of which was Evpatoria. Along with the treatment of sick children, the issue of organizing active children’s recreation was acute. An example was the camp «Artek» in the Crimea. There is not just a base for effective recreation, but also opportunities for involving children in popular diplomacy. Crimea can be called the territory of childhood, which has not only social but also geopolitical significance.

Tarkhankut and Chersonesos lighthouses
The article contains a multifaceted, descriptively structured study concerning the history and the present of two Crimean lighthouses, known in the people as «twins». As a result of the research, the peculiarities of each of the lighthouses were revealed, their significance in the historical heritage of the Crimea and Sevastopol was determined.
