Educating citizens in a multicultural pluralism

The article attempted analysis of the theory and practice of educating citizens in a changing global world. One of the major trends in the advent of post-industrialism is a global cosmopolitanism, which leads to the migration of human capital and enhances the mobility of the younger generation and multicultural dissonance. Currently, a certain part of Russian youth is actively engaged in tourism, taking part in the volunteer movement, academic exchange programs with other countries, communicating with their peers in foreign languages directly in social networks and the Internet, it performs with research projects in international target audience.

Thus, the expanding of cognitive and cultural horizons is becoming more intense, to overcome barriers to information and communication, as well as familiarity with international civil and political systems, ideology and values of the residents of different states. Natural reaction of the society and the whole Russian state to the changing realities should be the emergence of a coherent educational system. Its implementation will form a multi-dimensional “portrait” of young people aspiring to the unknown universal future. At the same time, they must serve the carriers of Russian identity, patriotism and high culture of citizenship.

The problem of freedom is the main question in the European culture. The search for individual freedom leads to the desire of changing the environment while saving yourself, and, as a consequence, to the horror of death. Having chosen this path, the European society collapsed. “Such as we are, we stink, because imbued with egoism, masochism and death. We have created a system in which life is impossible,” writes M. Houellebecq. But there is another way. We believe that freedom is not separation, but unity, in peace, with loved ones, with the nation. This path has always been belonged to Russia. So what are we going to choose today?

It is up to you to choose.

The inner dynamism of statutory images in modernist prose

The inner dynamism of statutory images in modernist prose is ubiquitous, multifunctional and multidirectional. From Lotman’s Gothic interpretation of “moving inanimate” in the tradition of “The Bronze Horseman” and the Commander of the image to the opposite, we denote it “miraculous monument”, remaining on the same page with Lotman. More often than not it is a monument to art, love or faith, united in the modernistic era, at least beauty category, in some contexts it is about holiness. Prominent sculptor A. Hildebrand believed that the basis of the sculpture is always “pictorial representation”, on the basis of which it is possible to move into the depths of the mass of the stone block. In other words, as specifies Vlasov, you should “draw a picture on the front surface of the stone, and then mentally move it in depth. “ Thus, already in the beginning of sculpturing, “motorial space and thinking” (Vlasov) is imaginary or unreal. Throughout the history of mankind, (from the Paleolithic figurines, cave paintings and related ritual incantations) there has been a diverse but inseparable relationship between the plastic arts and poetry. Schelling, who was particularly attentive to the dialectical unity, says that fantasy consists of music, that sculpture and poetry consist of philosophy (respectively), art and religion are a form of reality; poetry is captivated by the plastic, etc. In the modernistic era, the relationship between plasticity and poetry becomes more complex and sophisticated, but retain the romantic beginning.

Keywords: Art Nouveau, decadence, symbolism, mysticism, irrealism, para-phrasing, portraiture, allusions, Comparative, idioplastic, physioplastic, statuary, sculpture, monumental beauty.

Flower-beds as a means of national and geopolitical expression

These elements include flowerbeds, the decoration of which reflects the history of the states and their role in major international events.

Keywords: soft power, geopolitical code, international relations, gardens and parks ensembles, flower-beds.
