Abstract

Youth policy and Patriotic upbringing in the Primorsky Krai in the context of the tasks of manning the Russian army

The article analyzes the activities of youth institutions and organs of General secondary and additional education on Patriotic upbringing and pre-conscription training of pupils and students on materials of Primorye. A sufficiently high effectiveness of children's clubs and centres with applied military-sports specialization, on the one hand, and the weakness of development of this direction in the work of the youth bureaucratic structures are shown. The main part of young people incorporates patriotism in their moral values, but this is not evident at the level of readiness to defend the Fatherland. Mandatory conscription is not considered by young men as a necessary civic duty, and contract service in the army is perceived as one of the channels of social mobility, but only within the framework of the implementation of pragmatic needs.

Keywords: youth policy, Patriotic upbringing, military-applied training of young people, moral value of service to the Fatherland, army recruiting, Primorsky Krai.

Indjiev A.A.
Social media as an electoral resource of the Russian political parties (for example, «United Russia», CPRF, LDPR)

This article presents the author’s correlate, which is relevant to the modernity. The paper is devoted to a polyaspectual topic that is a complicated one in its metadisciplinary, political and culturological, social and humanitarian, personal and interpersonal sounding.

The methodology of the study has made it possible to approach the subject matter in accordance with the goals and the set of problems of the publication, with regard to the specifics of the realities reflected by the leading political forces of the state on their own current pages in the most popular national social network. Content analysis, coupled with comparative and contrastive techniques for text, hypertext and intertext, has become the central method for preparation of the final results of the work.

The prioritizing of the materials is such that it breaks the constants and places emphasis on the fact that the contemporary Russian society is not only a foothold for the political forces’ interminable struggle and competition. It is a ramified system that exists both in the actual reality and in the virtual one. This is precisely why environmentally sound, legal, and anthropocentric agitation of the electorate must be also performed in the framework of social media, which are so popular at the moment (and have already become an intrinsic value in the life for the Russian citizens). Nevertheless, as is proven by practice and analytics (and also in the vein of the given facts), only the identification as the presence of a resource with a voter who has already decided upon the positioning is by no means sufficient for a worthy representation of a party on the net. It is necessary to do methodical work to build interactive communications, a situational and long-term dialogue with a citizen, a user of media Internet channels of communication who is hesitant about their political preferences. And then the social media’s array of tools will be able to make it possible not only to interpret the party’s own political priorities but also to understand the voters’ views.

This survey research presents the latest expert judgments on the subject, and also the author’s own analytics, which has the initial (primary) functions of a social mini-snapshot. Some results of the presented paper can serve as a reason for further scientific expansion of the raised issues, and also as a motivator for re-evaluation of the planning of the proprietary media strategies for an adaptive scope of persons.

Keywords: politics, parties, electorate, media resources, social networks, priorities, agitation, groups, subscribers.

Assessment of the economic potential of industrial enterprises

In the conditions of modern economy, the most important component of the survival of an industrial enterprise is its financial stability, the achievement of which is possible through increasing the efficiency of economic activity. In turn, the basis for increasing the efficiency of activities is the effective use of all types of enterprise resources and the reduction of production costs.

At the level of an economic entity, an important role in the realization of this task falls on the system of managing economic potential. Involvement of Scandinavian countries in the North Atlantic Alliance in the second half of the 2010

The European security system has been in deep crisis for several years. NATO seized on the "Russian threat", justifying its existence. Donald Trump, who declared the Alliance "an out-of-date" organization and scared the European allies well, in April 2017 changed the position and supported NATO. At the heart of the security crisis in Europe, which undermines its global competitiveness, lies the crisis of old thinking. The Euro-Atlantic community is sliding towards the stereotypes of the Cold War, instead of rethinking the future of Europe in a global world that has long grown out of the patterns of Eurocentrism. Obviously, NATO is trying to include Finland and Sweden in its orbit, however, Russia is looking for options to counter this. However, at the moment everything is going to the fact that Russia will have to strengthen the border with Finland.

Keywords: Russia, EU, USA, Finland, Sweden, NATO.

The vectors of Chile’s social policy: the search for ways to overcome inequality

The article analyzes the directions of the social policy of the Michel Bachelet administration in Chile before the challenges of the beginning of the 21st century: social inequality and poverty. The author identifies four main areas of work: “women’s” reforms, youth issues, measures to protect motherhood, under-age children, pensioners and people with disabilities, and measures supporting entrepreneurship, training and personal growth of citizens. It is concluded that only long-term investments in human capital make sense, which do not give a momentary result. The experience of Chile in combating social inequality can be useful to Russia.

Keywords: social inequality, poverty, Michelle Bachelet, Chile, stratification, gender inequality, discrimination.

Geopolitical meanings of magazine covers

Even without opening a magazine, the reader can judge by the cover about the geopolitical preferences of the editorial board and circles whose interests reflect the publication. The tradition of not just a rigid accusatory image of a geopolitical rival, but its reduction to a caricature image comes from the satirical editions of the XIX century. The peak of the opponent’s criticism, transmitted by distorting the visual image of the head of state, warlordr or symbol of the country, reached during periods of wars. But modern world realities had little effect on changing the order of broadcasting of geopolitical interests.

Keywords: geopolitics, journalism, cover, propaganda, caricature.
