Senior student assistants on a journey through the labyrinths of social memory: mentor, tutor, curator, advisor

The article reveals a topic that is relevant in the light of the decision to hold a thematic year in the Russian Federation in 2023 dedicated to teachers and mentors. The learning process includes not only the direct transfer of knowledge, but also involves immersion of students in the depths of social memory. For students to successfully adapt to the conditions of an educational institution, be it a school or a university, it is necessary to single out in the general space of social memory that part of it that is connected with their history, culture, and traditions. The fulfillment of this task was entrusted to such pedagogical workers, whose functions often turned out to be not formally prescribed, but it was precisely the informal approach that helped them to be closer to students, arouse interest in the profession, build new communications and develop scientific, technical and social projects. Such forms of pedagogical activity arose at different stages of the history of education and each time clearly met the needs of the time. The article reveals the specifics of the activities of mentors, coaches, tutors, curators, advisors. The qualification content of each of the listed professions reflected both changes in society, science, technology, and in the vision of young people of their own future, based on the picture of social memory that senior mentors helped them comprehend.

Keywords: history, social memory, higher education, pedagogical support, students.

Conductor Alexander Hessin and German musical culture

The article is devoted to the Russian (Soviet) cultural figure, opera and symphony conductor, teacher A.B. Hessin and his connections with German musical culture. The process of teaching the art of conducting in the largest music centers in Germany at the beginning of the 20th century under the guidance of outstanding mentors – A. Nikisch, F. Mottl and others, as well as their contribution to the formation of the personality of a musician, is analyzed. The touring activity of Hessin in Germany and its importance in the popularization of classical and modern Russian music abroad are considered. Hessin's professional and personal contacts with musicians and performers are presented, without whose participation the «German» chapter of his creative biography could hardly have taken place.

Keywords: Hessin A.B., Nikish A., conductor, Russian musical culture, German musical culture, cultural ties, conducting art, concerts, tours.

The impact of digitalization on the innovation of business models of enterprises

The growth of digitalization affects different ranges of activities of modern enterprises, which affects the choice of a business model and allows building new forms of cooperation, as well as leads to the creation of fundamentally new products on the market and thus makes it possible to comprehensively improve the quality of life of their consumers. On the other hand, the development of digitalization leads to a constant revision of the lines of behavior used by enterprises in the market and the strategies implemented, which also creates new development opportunities. The company's digital development research is currently attracting more and more attention from business owners, economists and managers, but global research and development in this area is still insufficient due to the limited amount of empirical data. The purpose of this article is to study these issues.

Keywords: digitalization, business models, innovations, innovative development, business efficiency, digital technologies.

Political Islam: Reformism as a Possible Response to the Challenge of Radicalism

The changes taking place in the world of Islam and the emerging possible prospects for its further changes (stabilization, crisis, transformation, etc.) create a complex picture, which appears in the eyes of observers as a "blooming complexity". Against the backdrop of a systemic crisis taking place within the framework of the "Western world", it is of particular importance to consider the prospects for the development of alternative "centers of power", which are consistently gaining demographic, political and socio-economic "weight". Modern researchers and experts in the field of international relations should make additional efforts to identify and clarify the nature, direction and possible consequences of the ongoing changes.

Keywords: Islam, religion, choice, change, challenge, reform, modernity.
