Geopolitical meanings of sports symbols

Sport is becoming more and more politicized. International sports federations and their functionaries are increasingly drawn into the big geopolitical game. Those leaders who are in charge of geopolitics have the opportunity to express their national interests not only through traditional methods, but also through the colorful language of sports symbols. This behavior has not only disadvantages, but also positive aspects. However, both the first and the second need to be evaluated on the basis of a metadisciplinary approach, which takes into account not only aspects of geopolitics and sports, but also psychology, sociology, economics, etc., analyzed, among other things, from the point of view of their influence on birth. socially significant characters. Concepts of conflict in constitutional law

No matter how perfect the system of constitutional law is, no matter to what extent the unity and interrelation of its structure is ensured, it cannot prevent hidden disagreements between norms, called collisions in law. These clashes can give rise to conflicts and constitutional crises, which, of course, is extremely undesirable for any Government. Society of the digital age – challenges, risks or new opportunities?

The article is devoted to a relevant and at the same time debatable topic, since it attempts not only to analyze positive trends and transformations in the context of the use of modern electronic technology and the penetration of information and communication technologies into all spheres of human life, but also examines in detail the problems and threats from digitalization of society. The authors made an attempt to isolate the main criteria and characteristics of the digital society, referring, among other things, to the works of foreign authors. The result of the study is a clear division into positive and negative practices and trends in the development of society in the context of full digitalization and the spread of modern electronic technology. Even if there are more positive examples, there is a great threat that society in the digital age, instead of new opportunities, will face serious risks and threats, both for life itself and for changes in the practice of interaction and communication.

Keywords: sociology, society, digital age, information and communication technologies, IT, Internet, computer, modern technologies.

Mechanisms of Sino-Russian cooperation in the field of energy

In the context of the "double carbon" goal, the complementary resource advantages of China and Russia, the high degree of political mutual trust and the political background of the Russia-Ukraine conflict provide a good foundation for the construction of the China-Russia clean energy cooperation mechanism. At present, the path of the clean energy cooperation mechanism between the two countries can be divided into regional and social levels. Regional cooperation should be based on frameworks such as the SCO, BRICS and the Belt and Road Forum. On the social level, it mainly relies on the cooperation between the government, enterprises and universities to build a platform for the exchange and development of low-carbon projects and the cultivation of talents between the two countries.

Keywords: Sino-Russian cooperation, cooperation mechanisms, carbon neutra, clean energy.

Federalism in Somalia: the future of unity and the threat of partition

An examination of the Somali political system will lead us to many answers, including the causes of the geopolitical catastrophes that arose after the fall of the Somali state in the early 1990s, and the emergence of Somali maritime piracy as a result, as well as extremist terrorist movements. The main reason for these problems that threaten the international community is the fall of the state of Somalia, and then the emergence of the tribal federation project, which created a favorable environment for political corruption, as well as the growth of maritime piracy and the emergence of terrorist movements. As a result, today Somalia is in danger of being divided. In this article, we have tried to understand federalism in contemporary Somalia and also discussed the factors of unity and the threat of partition of Somalia.

Keywords: Somalia, federalism, political system, regional interference, tribe, unity and division, independence, political chaos, piracy.

Euroscepticism in the mirror of the Estonian political cartoon

At this point, the European integration process has become one of the most significant subjects of European (and, in particular, of Estonian) political cartoon. This genre, being a phenomenon of political and mass communication, acts as a kind of feedback from the Estonian society to the events taking place in the European Union. The article is devoted to a previously unexplored segment of this phenomenon – to a discussion of how the Eurosceptic cartoons in the Estonian press by recognized Estonian cartoonists reflect a certain part of public opinion in Estonia on the Eurosceptic agenda. The paper shows how their cartoons, addressed to representatives of Estonian culture and bearing the imprint of the Estonian collective consciousness, reflect, shape and support the Eurosceptic way of thinking in society. The cartoons of authors whose works criticize the EU, Estonia’s accession to this organization and its membership in it, express the European integration aspirations of this Baltic country in a deliberately comical way. The author made a representative selection of Eurosceptic cartoons (authored by 9 distinguished Estonian cartoonists), which expressed the most relevant Eurosceptic stories (for the period from 1998 to 2022), and provided their description, explanation and interpretation. The method of qualitative content analysis was applied.

Keywords: euroskepticism, European integration, Estonia, political cartoon, politics, satire, art.
