Understanding the key aspects of the current realities of the media policy of the Russian Federation after 2014 is necessary to analyze the evolutionary component of the state information policy that meets the requirements of the times. The leading stakeholder in this regard is a narrowly segmented audience of macro-influencers: top officials, political and public leaders who effectively convey Russia's official position on the most significant issues of the domestic political situation in the country and its foreign policy activity in the international arena to the elites and the most politically active audiences of foreign countries capable of have a significant impact on the formation of world public opinion in order to objectively perceive modern Russia abroad.

Methods of mathematical statistics in the study of migration processes

The article suggests an approach to the construction of migration models in the framework of modern technologies of system analysis. The work is devoted to the study of the current migration situation in the border region of Central Russia – the Bryansk region and the determination of the features of the migration situation during the COVID-19 pandemic on the basis of mathematical statistics. It is determined that the improvement of migration regulation is impossible without the introduction of relevant analytical approaches to the analysis of migration processes. The research is based on the introduction of complex statistical analysis into modern political practice. The calculations carried out helped to calculate the mathematical model according to the data of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Bryansk region, to identify trends in external and internal migration in the region, as well as to obtain significant conclusions on the dynamics of the migration situation in modern conditions. As a result of the conducted studies, a decrease in the indicators of total migration, both in terms of the number of arrivals and the number of departures, was found over the estimated expected result in 2020, calculated according to the linear trend for 2012-2019. A significant decrease in the long-term trend in both the number of arrivals and departures of the population in the Bryansk region in terms of total migration was revealed, but an increase in the linear trend over the nine-year period (2012-2020) in the CIS countries as a whole.

Keywords: migration, migration processes, migration management, statistical analysis, linear regression.

Development of political communications of students in order to prevent extremism and terrorism among university youth

The modern world differs from what it was at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries in that it draws people into a much more complex network of communications. And the younger a person is, on the one hand, the easier it is to connect to this new communication culture, but, on the other hand, the more difficult it is for him to find clear guidelines, goals and values in this network. Political communications are aimed at finding and maintaining them. They help not only to identify the prospect of social development and find the place of the individual in this future, but also to avoid falling into negative communications, which are often associated with the propaganda of violence, extremist ideology and terrorism. Protection against such threats to young people, including students, is modern political communications that help students adapt at the university and find themselves in social activities outside of it.

Keywords: communication, society, negative social and political communications, Internet, higher education, students.

"Public" and "political" citizen participation: theoretical approaches

The article presents the author's point of view on understanding the content characteristics of the category "socio-political participation". It concludes that in political science this concept is used very limitedly. Leading researchers often use it in combination with the concept of "civic participation". The essence of the author's position is that when the subject of scientific research is civil activity or selfless activity of the population of a small town (a large village), it seems appropriate to talk about the relevance of the category "socio-political participation". In small towns of Russia, useful initiatives coming from citizens and their associations are addressed to a greater or lesser extent to municipal authorities, deputy corps, existing branches of political parties and social movements. Accordingly, people themselves have an opportunity to enter a representative or administrative body and implement their proposals, projects in the practical sphere of public administration.

Keywords: public participation, political participation, civic participation, political behavior, power groups, political culture, municipal government, citizens' associations, region, small town, rural settlement.

Lean Six Sigma as an effective business tool for the economic growth of modern industrial enterprises

In recent years, the economic situation in the world has been characterized by an unstable and highly dynamic course as never before. The global economic crisis, another deterioration of the economic situation both in Russia and in the West, forces industrial enterprises to pay more and more attention to such management methods and tools that are aimed at eliminating crisis situations and improving the efficiency of their activities and competitiveness in general at the expense of internal reserves. In such conditions, the Lean production concept (Lean system) has proven itself to be one of the most successful. Historical memory of the formation of Kabardino-Balkaria within the USSR (interethnic aspect)

The article is devoted to the study of the historical memory of the inhabitants of Kabardino-Balkaria of different nationalities. The study examined people's opinions about the unification of Kabarda and Balkaria in January 1922. The author comes to the conclusion that historical memory is formed not only by the events of the distant past, but also by the modern stay of the Kabardino-Balkaria in Russia. It is shown that the generalized representation of the unified position of an ethnic group (Kabardians, Balkars, Russians) on historical topics is not true. The attitude to a particular historical event even within an ethnic community differs depending on the level of education, financial situation, the severity of Russian identity and other factors.
