The article analyses national identity crisis in modern democratic states. The author believes that liberal and capitalistic model of social relations due to its nature promotes adverse conditions for peaceful co-existence of different national communities and preservation of their national identity.

The politicization of communities and their potential impact on governance structures

Russia has not identified a clear vector of development in the present. The type of politicization of the country has no clear outlines. Society characterizes by significant social stratification. On this background there is political apathy. It’s necessary to involve citizens in political action, in governance. The author assumes that the main actors of politicization are the large and small social groups of individuals. The individual throughout life is socializing. Socialization comes in the closest circle in the family, in social groups, which under certain conditions, the most important of which are the identification, the common goals and spiritual unity, transforming in communities, including political communities. Empirical knowledge, cross- disciplinary research of transformational processes in society allowed the author to offer his own interpretations of the planetary, world, states, and countries, local and topical political communities. This research schematically shows the process of politicization of communities and reverses the process of their influence on the authorities.

Features of citizens’ trust in the political system with transparency of public authorities

Trust serves a special mechanism to ensure social order and sustained interaction between the actors in the political, economic, legal and social spheres. Significant role trust plays in the structure of the institutional and interpersonal relations in the military environment. In addition, political changes in society aimed at improving the effectiveness and legitimacy of the government, is impossible without the participation of the population. In this connection there is a need for increased attention to transparency, openness, availability of power on the part of civilian control.

This article looks at the key moments of the formation transporentnostnyh foundations of public authorities in the context of raising the level of citizens’ trust. Presents the main aspects of information transparency for the public good.

Sociological monitoring of the problems of labor migration in Russia

The article analyses the modern state of the problem of foreign labor migration in Russia, the impact of migration on social security of the Russian citizens in sphere of labour relations, to this phenomenon and its possible effects on workers of the Russian organizations. the data of official statistics on migration and on the main areas of employment of foreign migrants in Russia says, that that although labor foreign migrant is becoming an integral element in the Russian labor market, they is increasingly used in jobs not requiring high skills, which allows to partially solve the issue of filling vacancies, which is not the interesting to local population. Shows the results of many years of sociological monitoring of labour migration in Russia conducted by the sociological group IPAM Ranepa, giving an idea about the attitude of Russian employees to this issue and on related risks for Russian companies and citizens.

The public opinion about the activities of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of North Ossetia, the North Caucasus Federal District of the Russian Federation

This article was written on the materials of the expert survey, conducted in April and May 2016. The survey polled 73 people. The experts were: state officials, current and former employees of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, Ministry of Health, scientists, journalists, lawyers, policemen, businessmen, members of the national and municipal legislature.

Germany - power in the middle? The origins of ideas and background of problem

The article considers the historical background of positioning Germany as a «power in the middle» - i.e., as the center and mediator of European policy. The author sees the emergence of the preconditions for such a position in Germany in the era of the classical Middle Ages and early Modern Age. He pays a particular attention to the concept of «Mitteleuropa» of Friedrich Naumann, which was imperative for the German policy for long periods of time.

Turkey's share in shaping the foreign policy of Georgia

The article sets out the impact of Georgia's foreign policy. After Georgia's "Rose Revolution" support of Turkey for Georgia, the Turkish-Georgian cooperation in regional projects has been explored mutually. It follows that EU has always consider the strategic energy projects as an element of European energy security. In this sense, participate in regional projects means becoming an integral part of the of European security system and also part of "Wider Europe". Doubtless that proximity to EU in the context of projects services EU's membership strategic goal of Georgia.
