The article analyzes the lobbying activities of non-profit organizations in Russia. The non-profit sector is a specific structure that has its own peculiarities, including peculiarities of legislative registration, which is a key problem on the way to the formation of effective activities by NPOs. One of the effective lobbying mechanisms in Russia is to attract public attention. Nevertheless, despite the transparency of this process, most Russian citizens do not believe in lobbying and often associate it with crime and corruption.

Today, almost all the leaders of the subjects of the North Caucasus Federation, members of the North Caucasus Federal District, see the comprehensive development of tourism at home as a development prospect and a way to solve a number of important socio-economic problems, including employment, development of transport, and infrastructure. All of them have developed and are implementing their tourism development programs. However, in order to ensure the tourist attractiveness of these republics, you need to find the specifics. It is the development of ethno-tourism along with other types of tourist activity that will allow the region to successfully move in a given direction. The article discusses the importance of ethno-tourism for the North Caucasus republics and options for the implementation of its concepts, the most important of which is the expansion of social communications of the North Caucasus with the rest of Russia.

This article offers an analysis of Ukrainian Central Rada international policy highlights in conditions of Ukrainian statehood formation. Authors also reveal the factors that constrained the development of Ukrainian national republic diplomatic mission.

The article analyzes three groups of definitions of an “image”, as well as various approaches to understanding the “image” among representatives of non-classical rationalism, positivism, and other modern Western trends. On this basis, it is considered as a mental code of socially significant information in the forms of a once-guiding idea, an image-ideal, an image-value. Image formation is analyzed on the example of the transformation of such essential features of the Russian mentality as spirituality, collectivism (collegiality), statehood, etc.

The article sets out the theoretical and applied foundations of the communicative and regulatory components of religion in the socio-political life of Russian society, which is in a state of transformation and political change. The author made an attempt to consider the influence of moral incentives of politics and religion on people's behavior. The relevance of the article is due to the multidimensionality of the relations between religion and politics, which requires a detailed study of the mechanisms used in politics for the purposeful coordination of the processes taking place in Russian society. Determining the significance of the political will and moral attitudes of our compatriots, in conjunction with the management decisions they make, play an important role for modern Russian society. According to the author, in modern society, political culture is a symbiosis of the level of civilization and religious traditions. An extremely important issue is the study of the means by which religion affects politics and vice versa.

The article is an attempt to understand the influence of museums on the formation of visitor identities. The object of the study were four museums in the capital of Bashkortostan - Ufa: the National Museum of Bashkortostan (central branch), the Museum of Sh.A. Khudaiberdin, Museum of S.T. Aksakov and Museum of M.V. Nesterov. The study showed that most of the events of the National Museum of Bashkortostan are aimed at the formation and maintenance of Bashkortostan and Bashkir identities. Some meetings are held in the Bashkir language, and the main audience of thematic evenings are Bashkirs (to a lesser extent Tatars and Russians). The Khudaiberdin Museum is orientated on Bashkir culture of the Soviet period, which at the same time does not turn into nationalism. The Aksakov Museum turned out to be an island of traditional Russian culture and Orthodoxy, while Aksakov is positioned as an ethnic Russian writer, unlike Nesterov, who is positioned in the gallery as an all-Russian artist.

The development of information technologies, from the point of view of accumulation and transfer of information, took place in several stages and contributed to the formation of a new system of information and communication relations, the creation of an information society in General, the development of which allowed to expand the rights of citizens to receive information by providing instant access to it, giving a platform for active production of information, its creation and dissemination.

In the clause complexity of realization of the right of the individual on expression of the ethnonational identity in the conditions of quickly modernized communities is shown. Having analysed features of development of the world national in the conditions of globalization, the author comes to a conclusion that realization of the right of the individual on originality cannot be effectively provided only by means of realization of human rights in all their set. In the clause the thesis that high-grade realization of individual human rights to identify itself with a certain generality is consistently proved cannot be provided without availability of the similar right at the most ethnic generality: this collective right provides existence of the most ethnic generality and its culture.

The article is devoted to the problems of socio-cultural adaptation of forced migrants in Russia and abroad. On the basis of comparative discourse, the features of socio-cultural activities in relation to forced migrants in Russia and abroad are analyzed, as well as measures to optimize the state policy on the regulation of migration processes are noted.

Among the many approaches to the analysis of the geopolitical situation within the framework of a sociological school, a study based on the study of the specifics of the social roles of participants in international relations is distinguished. It allows extrapolating to the field of domestic and foreign policy the roles of actors of other social institutions, primarily the institution of the family. Thanks to this approach, one can find an explanation of the reasons not only for the strength of the models of family relations, but also for their transfer to political life and further to geopolitics.

The article discusses changes in the cultural identity of the inhabitants of the British Isles and the linguistic awareness of such changes in the process of teaching English as a foreign language. The authors analyze the ethnic characteristics of the inhabitants of the UK, including national, social and individual traits of both the indigenous population and immigrants, as well as the influence of immigrants on the English language, the cultural traditions of the British people, which leads to a difficult sociolinguistic situation.

The article deals with the features of the implementation of military-political integration in Eurasian space. It is mainly realised within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. The article describes the problematic aspects of the CSTO activities. These include the CSTO’s incomplete readiness to counter transnational threats, organizational problems associated with, for example, the appointment of the CSTO Secretary General, the disproportionate costs of the participating countries for the maintenance of the CSTO and several others. To increase the effectiveness of Eurasian military-political integration, it is necessary to find solutions to these problems.

The article analyzes the system of higher education in France with a focus on graduates joining the political elite and employment in high government posts. The main educational tracks of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Fifth French Republic (from 1958 to 2019) with a focus on the institution of higher education and specialization are examined. A feature of the publication is that the author identifies the most common universities and areas of preparation, analyzes the composition of government offices for the representation of various educational institutions, and calculates the concentration and competitiveness of universities. Based on the analysis, the author proves the existence of a stable recruitment pattern for the political elite, which persists despite separate recruitment trends for each new elite group.
