The phenomenon of spirituality as a factor in ensuring national security

The article considers the phenomenon of the Russian spirituality, which is defined as a factor to ensure national security. The authors substantiate the idea that in the shadow of new conditions, that are difficult for Russia, the choice of the homegrown path of development should be made based on the civilizational features belonged to the Russian people only. The article states spiritual potential as such a feature and gives such essential characteristics as cosmic consciousness, common cause, multi-unity, revelation, and responsible action. In this article, the above mentioned characteristics are defined as the complementary sides of the national unity, which constitutes the core of the Russian spirit, and as opposing ones to the Western spiritual anthropocentric and individualistic invariant.

Political Aspects of Intercultural Communication

The authors of the article consider one of the main principles of the state national and cultural policy - respect for traditions, culture and languages. The equal attention which is given by the leadership of the Republic Bashkortostan to issues of development of culture and art of all its inhabiting peoples, is a basis of the interethnic consent in region. The authors of the article come to the conclusion that the formation of positive interstate relations on the basis of cultural communications is an important component in the development of new forms of interaction between countries.

In search of human ideal: Milana Aldarova´s mythological axiology

An inspiring concept of human identity, presented by Milana Aldarova (1956–2012), profound Russian poet and philosopher, as analysed here as an effort of worldwide significance. The image of Daedalus, the famous mythical inventor and aeronaut, is argued to be an ideal of a daring and creative human being, while Ancient Greek culture is appreciated as an everlasting source of authentic humanism values, vital for human survival.

The political life of the country: the genesis of the Russian system

The participation of women in politics is a serious and debatable issue, which is discussed at various expert sites. Today, there is no consensus on what functions and characteristics of political influence women may have. In world political theory and practice, one can find diverse and polar considerations on the participation of women in the political life of the country: from more conservative ones, where it is proposed to prohibit or quota female participation in the work of public authorities to liberal ones, where absolute equality of men and women in politics is proclaimed and libertarian, where it is proposed to provide women with an absolute majority in political decisions.

In this article, the author attempts to consider the issue of female participation in the political life of the country from the angle of the Russian system, and also empirically analyzes the representation of the female audience in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and its impact on political decision-making.

Role of mentality and national character in the implementation of human creative potential

The purpose of the article is to analyze the significance of mentality as the foundation of a national character in the realization of the creative potential of man and society. The article discusses such components of the mentality as archetypes, the national idea, the soul of the people, natural factors, the genetic foundation, the mental code, each of which carries its own functional load, and the mentality as a multi-level phenomenon manifests itself on the virtual and essential levels.

Vector of cultural and political development: the world CIOFF Folkfloriada 2020

In this article, the authors consider the key aspects of the organization and conduct of the World Folkloriada in 2020 in the Republic of Bashkortostan and provide a qualitative analysis of the upcoming cultural event made by the system of social and humanitarian sciences. The article deals with the issues of consolidation of cultural traditions of different peoples, systematization of work experience on popularization of folklore creativity. In the course of the research it is possible to understand to what extent the mentioned international congress is relevantl for the Russian socio-political and socio-cultural systems, and what aspects of its conduct will become mainstream and system-forming.

The article explores the role of representative offices of Russian regions abroad. Varieties of representations of subjects of the Russian Federation abroad, and also their purposes, functions, the main results of activity are analyzed. In addition, the author pays attention to the organizational and legal forms of functioning of the representations of the Russian regions abroad, as well as to the position of these representations in the system of representations of the subjects of the Russian Federation.

Russia's peacekeeping in the post-Soviet space: a political and legal analysis

The article shows Russia's exclusive prerogative in resolving conflicts in the post-Soviet space; studied conceptual political and legal acts in the field of peacekeeping in the CIS and CSTO; justified the need for the inclusion in the political doctrine of the Russian Federation of its existing institute of peacekeeping activities; The rationalization of focusing proactive peacemaking efforts on good offices and mediation is shown. a pragmatic-rational approach in the peacemaking of Russia in the post-Soviet space is substantiated on the basis of the principle of ensuring the country's national security in the face of growing tensions in the world.

The international dimension of regional security: the formation of a new strategic reality

This article discusses one of the most important problems of international security regarding its regional nature. Political regional studies have long stood out as an independent field of political science research. The advantages of the comparative political analysis of regional security are revealed both in the international aspect and in global politics. This topic is one of the most relevant for the modern system of international relations, as well as domestic policy in connection with the fact that we become witnesses and participants in events that carry global transformational attitudes.

Focusing on the fact that the modern world will no longer be the same as 5, 10, 20 years ago, we must form a special research position that has the right to exist within the framework of the transformation process. Hence, we understand that it is necessary to present a qualified expert opinion that reflects the trends of the modern research environment and at the same time it should be as close as possible to socio-political reality. Accordingly, in this article it is important for us to understand what real forms of development of social relations exist in the international aspect of regional security.

The contours of the new world order

The formation of a new world order is taking place in conditions of uncertainty and conflictness. It is impossible today to say what form the new world order will take. Nevertheless, its contours are already visible. It can be a rules-based world, a multipolar, polycentric or multilateral world. A polycentric world seems to be the most appropriate for the Russian national interests. At the same time, in Russian foreign policy, one doesn’t need to put all the eggs in one basket. Russia should carefully monitor the global dynamics and be prepared to establishment of any of these forms of the new world system.
