Negative transfer of the native language in the practice of teaching grammar of the Russian language and measures to overcome it
Russian and Chinese, which differ in origin, belong to different language families. The Russian language is usually attributed to the Indo-European family, and the Chinese language, in turn, is recognized as a representative of the Sino-Tibetan language family. There are differences between the two language systems at almost all levels: phonetic, lexical, grammatical, stylistic, etc. This inevitably has a great impact on teaching Chinese students Russian as a foreign language. For this reason, many scientists have paid and are paying attention to the study of the role of the native Chinese or Russian language in the process of mastering a second new language. In this article, from the point of view of the theory of negative transfer of the native language, the common grammatical errors among Chinese Russian students associated with their ethno-linguistic consciousness and insufficient assimilation of grammatical norms of the modern Russian language are analyzed and generalized. Methods and learning strategies are put forward to help overcome the noted negative shifts. The author notes that negative transference is an objectively existing phenomenon that has its own patterns. When preparing for classes in Russian grammar, Russian grammar teachers should pay special attention to the formation of students' skills of independent analysis, comparison and generalization, as well as the development of their ability to think in Russian.
Key words: negative transfer of the native language, teaching grammar of the Russian language, forms of expression, methods of overcoming.

Representation of Russia in German media sphere (2000-2010)
To gain a clear understanding of actions in the media sphere of Russia's geopolitical opponents, the analysis of materials from the 2000s in the European media is now more relevant than ever. During this period, the information manipulations of the Western media were more hidden, and the Russophobic policy of publications was less obvious, but it was in this decade that the foundation of the anti-Russian information campaign was laid and the theses that dominate the media space now, in the 2020s, were born. The object of this study is the image of Russia in the German-language media sphere in the period from 2000 to 2010, and the subject is the materials of the German-language media published in this decade. The purpose of the study is to identify whether Germany participated in the information war of the West against Russia in the mentioned period, and in case of a positive result, to conclude how this affected the current state of Russian-German relations. In the course of the study, we found out that, despite the productive energy cooperation with Russia, Germany joined the anti-Russian information campaign and thereby harmed its own interests. In particular, the result of this was in 2022-2023 the disadvantageous pro-American position of Germany regarding the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage.
Key words: Russia, Germany, West, geopolitics, media, information war, information manipulation, Russophobia, energy cooperation, gas, Nord Stream-1.

A new approach to sign languages within the Eurasian paradigm
What is the nature of Russian sign language? Is it considered a distinct national language or a part of the official language? This article presents a comprehensive analysis which argues that sign languages are indeed part of official languages. However, sign languages operate within a different modality - the visual realm. While sign languages share the same terms and concepts as spoken languages, they possess unique rules and grammar due to their reliance on visual communication. The hypothesis presented can be supported by the observation that deaf individuals in a specific country share similar attitudes and perspectives as the general population. Their understanding of the world is essentially the same, with the only difference being the method of perception. However, their modes of written communication and mass communication are identical. Based on this analysis, it is evident that sign languages should not be considered as distinct national languages, like those of ethnic minorities. Instead, the suggested approach is to view sign language as a visual component of the country's language, rather than as a separate foreign language without sound. The article provides a thorough examination of various groups within the deaf community and presents a list of visual means used in the Russian language, such as Russian sign language, sign-supported speech (calquing sign speech), fingerspelling, facial expressions, articulation, and kinesics. The article specifically focuses on the use of mouthing. It questions the necessity of the term “mouthing” alongside the term "articulation". The article also proposes a detailed structure for the perception of information. According to this structure each element creates a cognitive concept. The author aims to demonstrate that it is crucial to acknowledge the significance of each modality of perception, as they all contribute to human progress and development.
Key words: Russian sign language, sign-supported speech (calquing sign speech), fingerspelling, mimics, articulation, kinesics, deixis, mouthing, visual modality, audial modality, kinesthetic modality, linguistic worldview (linguistic world-image), сonceptual worldview, logos.

Visual modality as a part of mass communication
This article explores communication in social interaction and the importance of mass communication in modern society. Language proficiency is crucial for full membership in society, but there are also sign systems known to smaller groups, such as flag signaling for sailors, Morse code for telephonists. symbolism for scientists, and sign language for the deaf. The study of sign language is in its early stages, evolving alongside new forms of mass communication. The author introduces the concept of signota, which involves expressing ideas visually through sign language. The future of signota and the visual mode depends on those who recognize its potential in enhancing communication and contributing to the language system as a whole.
Key words: visual modality, speech textures, mass communication, Russian Sign Language, calquing sign speech, signota, Visual Vernacular (VV).

The contribution of scientists of the AZSSR (by the example of Yusif Mamedaliev) to the improvement of oil and natural gas production to strengthen the Red Army's battle power
Victory over the enemy during the Great Patriotic War was achieved through the coordinated work of all the Union republics. Each republic made its own invaluable contribution to the collective victory over the enemy. Soviet Azerbaijan did not stand aside either. The Azerbaijan SSR gave the front the most important thing - oil, as well as fuels and lubricants derived from oil. It was on Baku oil that victory over the enemy was forged. When studying this issue, one cannot ignore the contribution of the scientists of the Azerbaijan SSR to the development of oil fields in Azerbaijan, as well as to the development of methods for the extraction and processing of raw materials. The most famous scientist of that time was Yusif Mammadaliyev. In the first half of the 20th century, Azerbaijani scientists had a significant impact on improving the technology of extraction and processing of natural gas and oil. Particularly revolutionary were the scientific work of Yusif Mammadaliyev concerning the production of a substance called toluene, a key component of TNT, which is used for military purposes. Later, Yusif Mammadaliyev made other important discoveries of union and international significance, which brought him worldwide recognition and fame. In connection with the foregoing, the author of this article made an attempt to scientific analysis and critical reflection on the contribution of scientists of the Azerbaijan SSR (on the example of Yusif Mammadaliyev) to improving oil and natural gas production to strengthen the combat power of the Red Army.
Key words: victory over Germany, contribution of the Azerbaijan SSR to the victory over fascism, contribution of Azerbaijani scientists, improvement of oil production, improvement of gas production, development of hydrocarbon processing technologies.
